Gwen wiped the sweat from her brow as she finished watering the last row of crops. She had been focusing on crafting some new sprinklers, so her daily workload was thankfully decreasing. The midday sun was warm, casting a golden hue over the farm, making everything feel alive and thriving. She took a moment to admire her handiwork and felt a sense of accomplishment, but her mind was already wandering to the tasks ahead- today she would finally make time to visit the library and see Gunther about the lost books.

After a quick shower and a change of clothes into her purple pullover and comfortable black leggings, Gwen pulled on her tennis shoes, her feet feeling a bit sore from the previous days of hard work. She paused for a moment, considering her options. "I should take Titan for a ride," she mused aloud. "I haven't gotten to in a while."

The idea of riding Titan was refreshing. She made her way to the cow pasture, whistling softly. Titan, a striking black gelding with a glossy coat that seemed to shimmer even in the shade, trotted over with an eager energy. His mane flowed like dark silk, and his large, intelligent eyes met hers with a playful glint. Titan was more than just a means of transportation; he was a loyal companion who seemed to understand her every mood.

"Hey buddy," Gwen greeted him, reaching out to scratch his nose. Titan nuzzled her hand affectionately and she chuckled, excited to see he hadn't forgotten her so soon. She grabbed his saddle from the tack room, his movements remaining steady and calm as she prepared him for the ride.

As she secured the saddle on Titan, she couldn't help but feel a rush of excitement. It had been a while since she'd ridden, and the idea of feeling the wind against her face as she rode into town felt so liberating. Titan seemed to sense her eagerness, shifting impatiently as she adjusted on the saddle.

"Easy buddy, we're heading out now," she said with a laugh, giving him a final pat before swinging herself into the saddle. The horse's powerful muscles tensed beneath her, and he let out a soft snort, ready for the journey ahead.

Gwen nudged Titan gently with her heels as they began their leisurely trot towards Pelican Town. The rhythmic clip-clop of Titan's hooves on the gravel road was soothing, and Gwen allowed herself to enjoy the quiet moments of the ride. The countryside passed by in a blur of green fields and colorful windflowers, the valley in full spring bloom. As they approached town, Gwen admired the familiar sights. Titan's hooves echoed softly against the cobblestone, drawing a few curious glances from townsfolk who greeted her with friendly waves. She waved back, feeling the familiar sense of belonging in the community she had come to love.

When she arrived at the library, Gwen dismounted and led Titan to a fenced area south of the museum, giving him a reassuring pat before leading him into the pen. Titan nickered softly, his large eyes watching her with a mix of curiosity and patience before lowering his head to nibble on the luscious clovers growing at his hooves. "Be a good boy," Gwen said, smoothing down his mane. "I'll be back soon."

She made her way up the steps of the library, her heart beating a little faster in anticipation. The building stood as a beacon of knowledge and curiosity, being the bacon of learning in the small town. The large wooden doors and magnifying glass and book above them were inviting, if not a bit comical. As she pushed open the door, the familiar scent of aged paper and ink greeted her. The library was cool and dimly lit, a soothing contrast to the bright sunlight outside. Gwen made her way to the front desk, where Gunther, the librarian and museum crater, was busy organizing a stack of books. He looked up and smiled warmly upon seeing her.

"Gwen! It's good to see you," Gunther said, his mustache curling upwards with his smile. He tipped his bright blue hat in a classic greeting. "What brings you here today? Got any artifacts to donate?"
