Ring Pop

Red's POV

A few days has passed since the whole beating up Ian incident, which I still think it wasn't my fault, neither does Principal Uma. When the teacher sent me to the office, I explained everything that happened, and she understood and said that part of the school conduct was to still give me some type of  'punishment', so I had detention the next day.

Right now Chloe and I are in the library studying, because she knows that if I was in the dorm, I would not study at all. We were sitting in a table for four people, but it was just us two sitting next to each other.

"Chloeee I don't wanna do this anymore", I whined, putting my head down on the table. We have been studying for the past 2 hours or so, and I was getting tired.

"Red, c'mon, we're almost done", she said rubbing my back softly.

I picked up my head from the table and looked at her, "You have been saying that for the past hour", I said while rolling my eyes.

"Ok but this time we are actually almost done, just a few more problems to get through", Chloe said turning her attention from her laptop to me.

"C'mon, I'll ask you questions and you answer them, it will help you for your math exam tomorrow"

"Ughhh"

"If you get them right i'll give you a kiss"

"Okay deal!"

Chloe giggled and turned to look at her laptop going through some problems until she found one.

"Ok, you have to solve for x and y - look", she turned her laptop toward me so I could see the problem.

2x + 3y = 12
4x - y =5

I started writing it down on my notebook and solving it from there.

"Uhhh x equals twenty seven over fourteen and y equals nineteen over  seven?"

"That is.... correct!"

I smile and pucker up my lips while closing my eyes waiting for Chloe to kiss me. I hear her giggle, and feel her hand on my cheek giving me a long peck.

"You're so cute babe, okay next one", she looks for another problem.

"You have to solve for x", she shows me her laptop one again so I can see the problem.

3(x - 4) + 5 = 2(x + 6) - 3

I write it down on my notebook again, doing the work.

"16...?"

"Yes! You're so smart babe", Chloe exclaims, leaning over and putting her hands on my shoulders while kissing me.

"You guys are so cute!", We both pull away, startled by someone. I turned around and saw that it was Eva.

"Oh, hey Eva, what are you doing here?", I pull away from Chloe to face Eva.

"I'm so sorry to interrupt you guys, I just wanted to let you guys know that you all are so cute, but anyways, I came to see if I can find a book to read", Eva explains, going to sit infront of us .

"Oh thanks Eva, oh uh, Chloe-", I turn to look at Chloe, "this is Eva, a friend I made when you were at practice a few weeks ago", I said to Chloe then turned to Eva. "Eva this is Chloe, my.. uh.. -" I pause and look at Chloe who was looking at me blushing. What even are we, we aren't exactly together but we do have something going on. "She's my girlfriend", I said turning to look at Eva who was smiling ear to ear.

"How exciting!", she exclaims but then her mood changes when she takes a good look at my face.

"Oh my gosh guys, i'm so sorry about my brother", she then turns to look at Chloe while grabbing her hands and holding them. "I'm so sorry about what my brother did, he's such a jerk, I wish I could tell him something"

That makes me think, Eva and Ian don't seem to be close like any other siblings, in fact, I can tell Eva not only doesn't like him, but she's scared of him. I wonder why? I mean, other than the fact that he likes to manhandle and hit women, there must be something deeper.

"Eva don't worry, we know it's not your fault", I said smiling.

"Yea, don't worry, either way, Red here can protect me", Chloe said turning to me smirking.

"Ohh that's how Red got those marks huh? Being protective of your girl?", Eva says smirking , letting go of Chloe's hands.

I blush and laugh .

"Yea of course, she's only mine", I said wrapping my arm around Chloe's shoulders.

"Alright love birds, I see you, but I have to go, i'll see you all later?", Eva says standing up.

"Yea of course, take care Eva", once she left Chloe looked at me smiling from ear to ear.

"I'm your girlfriend now?", oh shoot I forgot I said that.

"Do you want to be?", I smile pulling her closer, kissing her cheek.

"Are you asking me?"

"Yes, Chloe Charming -" I stood up and walked over to her side kneeling down on one knee, pulling out a ring pop, I, for some reason had. "Will you make me the happiest girl in the world and be my girlfriend?" I asked opening the Ring pop and showing it to Chloe.

Chloe was blushing and giggling, "Yes of course I will", she extended her hand and I slid the candy onto her finger.

I stood up and looked around the library.

"She said yes guys!" I yelled, while receiving some applauses and also some weird looks, and a scolding look from the librarian, I turned to Chloe and saw that she was standing in front of me.

"Babe! Don't yell!", She said laughing while putting her arms around my neck embracing me in a hug. I put my arms around her waist pulling her closer.

"I'm just so excited!" I hug her tighter making her arch her back.

I pulled away slightly, coming face to face with her, I started giving her quick kisses around her face making her giggle, until we pulled away completely putting away all our stuff and walking back to the dorm hand in hand.
