Heya people. We've reached the end of Legacy, in one piece. This journey began someday in December 2023 and here we are in. September 2024. (Hey! It's almost like my baby.)
I remember thinking if I should or shouldn't publish the very edited first chapter of this book. I was more than terrified because my last book had given me a lot of reasons not to hope for good things. And now, I'm glad I put this work out there.
I would say, personally, as an author, I could see my growth in storytelling as compared to my first book. Anyone who's read both the books in the duology would agree that Legacy was more a historical fiction than Aradhya was. Halfway through writing this, I realised, I had more political, personal, interpersonal and internal conflicts in this book compared to the first part and though this book wouldn't reach the number of reads Aradhya has reached, I am proud of my growth.
I was aware that another reason I wouldn't want to put this book out there is because I knew long-distance relationships aren't favorites of people on this platform. But I wanted to explore aspects of human qualities that make long distance relationships possible. And while I don't know if I have done justice to it or not, I am certainly happy with the course this book has taken.
I take utmost pleasure in thanking everyone who has been with me through this journey. Your comments, votes, requests for updates are all my motivation. Passive readers too, I am grateful for your support.
I was planning on doing a Q&A but I believe you all want nothing to do with me no more since I've not received a single question hence I'll be cancelling that session. Thank you either way, dear readers, I wouldn't be here without any of you.
Having said I've finished my third book is an accomplishment I wouldn't have believed if someone told me that five years ago. But here we are.
As for my next project, I have some serious brainstorming to do. I have the basic idea but it's not good enough to write about hence I'll have to develop it into a good structured plot. But it's coming, I assure you. I hope you all can wait for it and support it like you have my three other books.
Well, I'll bid you all a good day or night. Be safe, healthy and take joy in good books. That is all I have for you all today. Thank you again from the very bottom of my heart.
See you all on the next project,-AB
🌺😉❤️
