Chapter 8: The Ball

       The next two days past way to quickly. I was getting really nervous for the ball. Noah kept telling me it was going to be fine but I was still worried. Noah left a few minutes ago because he said he had a surprise for me. I'm not sure exactly what it is but I have some guesses.

"Hannah close your eyes." He said from outside the door. He waited a couple seconds before opening it and walking inside. I heard some wheels but I didn't know what was going on.

"Okay.. open" When I did my jaw dropped. He had wheeled in one of the most beautiful dresses I have ever seen. It was black with lace all over. The shoulders were of shoulder so he put a necklace on the mannequin along with the dress. The skirt was big but not super big. Big enough that it was a ball gown but you could still easily move around in.

"Oh my gosh Noah. It's beautiful"

"I'm glad you think so, now try it on!" I did as he said and took the dress into the closet so I could change. It fit me like a glove. I walked out of the closet to show Noah.

  "Wow, you look beautiful."
 
   "Thank you"

   "Of course, now let's practice a little bit." He took my hand and placed my left hand on his shoulder and my right in his hand. He placed his right hand on the small of my back and I immediately got butterflies. He guided me through a waltz. The only sounds in the room were our breathing and our shoes tapping against the floor. It wasn't awkward by any means, it was nice it was comforting.

   "Okay now I'm going to spin you" I nodded in reply and he proceeded to spin me. I was thrown of my balance but he didn't let me fall. And we continued to dance.
  
    I know this sounds weird and crazy but I felt safe with him. He's never let anything bad happen to me. I don't know why they had to keep us here but I don't mind it. I mean I still get to be with my friends and made new ones. I also met Noah. I don't regret anything one bit.

  Slowly Noah let go of me and told me the ball was in a few hours. And that I could decide if I wanted to stay in my dress or not. I decided to take it off and just wear a hoodie while I did my hair. I decided I would curl my hair so I started. It took me a while but I eventually finished. Noah told me we had about half an hour until we had to go to the ball room.

   I quickly put on my dress and shoes. Noah helped me put on my necklace and finished getting ready himself. He looked so handsome in his suit. He was wearing a black suit so we were matching. I wasn't sure if he noticed yet or not.
  
   We headed out the door into the ballroom. There were so many people there. They all bowed and Noah took my arm. We headed down the staircase to the ballroom floor and met up with my friends and James and Aiden.

   My friends all looked so pretty. Farryn had her hair curled and pinned up. She was wearing a purple ball gown. It had a shimmery bodice and shimmery skirt with lace accents. It had a raised front so I could see her high heels. They were pretty too. Not super tall but nice black ones. Olivia was wearing a royal blue dress. It had a gorgeous corset top with a satin looking skirt. Her hair was curled but she pulled it into a half up half down style. Taya was wearing a red dress. It was all shimmery. It had a big skirt and a lace top. She straightened her hair and had flowers in her hair. Rebecca was wearing a emerald green dress that looked a little similar to Olivia's but had a different style top. Rebecca's top was a bunch of strings tied together on the back which looked amazing. She also had a half up half down hairstyle but she straightened her hair. We looked bad ass together.

Aiden and James looked handsome as well. Aiden was wearing a green suit the same colour as Rebecca's dress. James wore a red suit and it matched Taya as well. These three were being suspicious. They all matched one of us.

"Welcome all to my castle. I hope you all enjoy yourselves tonight." Noah said in a authoritative voice. Which I will admit was very sexy.

"I still can't believe you own a castle." I said to him.

"Well believe it flower."

Some music started to play and Noah took me to the dance floor. We practiced a bunch so I was ready. We swayed to the music and looked into each other's eyes.

"You look so beautiful."

"Thank you. But I have a question to ask you"

"What is it?"

"Is there a reason you, James and Aiden are matching me, Taya and Rebecca."

"Maybe." He said mischievously. I rolled my eyes at him and dragged him with me to the table with drinks and food. When we got to the table Noah waved at a tall man with dark brown hair, bright blue eyes and a sharp jaw. He wore a black suit but I liked black suit on Noah better. The man was standing beside a very pretty lady. She had long dark brown hair, she looked to be about the same height as me just a little bit taller and she had gorgeous bright green eyes. She was wearing a dark forest green dress that complimented her hair and eyes.

  "Noah, it's good to see you again." The man said.

  "That it is Ryder." Noah replied

  "Now who is this pretty girl on your arm?"

"I was about to ask you the same thing." He laughed. "But this is Hannah."

As Ryder shook my hand he introduced the woman beside him. "This is Freya."

   "Hi." Freya said as she smiled at me. I smiled back. Ryder and Noah started talking about some random shit while I brought Freya with me to introduce her to the rest of my friends.

"Guys this is Freya. Freya this is Taya, Rebecca, Olivia and Farryn." They all said hi to one another and quickly got along.

"Let's go dance!" Farryn said as she pulled us onto the dance floor. They were playing classical music but we danced like they were playing pop music. A bunch of the guests were looking at us like we were crazy. I thought I saw one of their eyes flash red. I blinked my eyes and they went back to brown. I think I might be going crazy.

Soon enough it was almost sunrise. The guests started to leave and Noah and I headed back to our room. I hopped into the shower and changed into my pyjamas. I climbed into the bed and waited for Noah to finish showering. He finished a few minutes later and walked out in his sweatpants.

"Noah?" I said as he climbed into bed.

"Yes?"

"This could've been my eyes playing tricks on me but I swear I saw one of your guest's eyes turn red."

He sighed "Hannah?"

"Yeah?"

"What do you think about vampires?"
