"Vampires?"
"Yeah. What do you think about them?"
"I don't think they're real."
"What if I told you that they were real?"
"What?"
"Hannah look at me." I looked at him and his eyes were red. Blood red. I scooted back a bit on the bed.
"What's wrong with your eyes."
"Hannah. Vampires are real."
It finally clicked in my head. The reason why they had to take us. The reason why they're always drinking glasses of what looks like red wine. The reason why they're so cold. The reason why Noah owns a castle.
"Hannah I'm not going to hurt you."
"I know. If you were going to you would've already."
"So you're fine with me being a vampire?"
"Well I guess so. I mean you've been nice to me and my friends."
"That's good, but there is one thing that I need to tell you."
"What is it?"
"Every blood moon we vampires kind of.. our instincts take over and we kind of black out while our more primal selves are in control. And really the only way to help control it is consuming blood."
"So basically you'll need to drink from me?"
"Yeah pretty much. But it's not really me. I'll try to stay in control for as long as possible but it's hard. So I might be pretty frightening until I get your blood in my system."
"Okay. When is the next blood moon?"
"Tomorrow. I should've told you sooner, I'm sorry."
"It's okay. It just matters that you told me." With that I scooted back to my original spot which was closer to Noah and laid my head on the pillow.
"Good night Noah."
"Good night Flower."
