"Great observation Sherlock"

the three hargreeves arrived in front of what looked like a beaten down warehouse, y/n give five a sceptic look, not sure if this is the right building to find her ape brother luther but the boy just nodded forward, signalling her to enter the building.

"you're sure he's here?" she asked the boy who walked a bit faster to catch up with her, vanya walked not far behind them.

"certain" he told her, pushing past the men in front of them to make way for the girl, they hear the men chant as their vision started to catch two men fighting in a make shift wrestling ring made of old wood that looked like it would come crashing down any minute "there he is" five breathed out.

"great observation sherlock" y/n sighed, keeping a close eye on vanya as five found a place for them to watch luther from.

the three continued to watch luther's brutal match with his opponent, y/n noticed that he was being way more brutal than the fights he did on their missions as kids, the man was always under the radar unless their father approved on him to get his hands bloodied-

and that's when y/n noticed the same man from the bar, luther's supposed boss, jack ruby nodding in approval with luther's fighting skills, that's when she realized that her brother was there again, experiencing daddy issues.

"w-why is he just standing there?" the woman beside her asked, snapping her away from her thoughts, she looked back at luther who just looked like he had a thought come up to him, in a snap, his opponent punched him in the face.

"ouh.." five grimaced at the impact, luther's opponent looked confused for a brief moment before attacking again, taking advantage of the moment, as the audience start to watch in confusion and rage, y/n's eyes darted at Mr. Ruby once more, noticing his disappointed expression.

"hit me again." luther told his opponent.

"what the hell is he doing?" vanya turned to the two, they both just shrugged in confussion as luther's opponent continued to beat the shit out of luther.

"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?!" Mr. Ruby exclaimed, watching luther accept his faith for some unknown reason.

"why isn't he fighting back?" five mumbled to himself as luther got thrown across the wrestling ring.

"i don't know but someone isn't pleased" y/n answered the boy's rhetorical question, pointing a finger at Mr. Ruby.

"-AGAIN! HIT ME!" luther started to yell at his opponent as tears ran down his face.

"luther are you crazy? just hit him!" five couched, leaning against the wood the separated the audience from the match.

"GIVE ME EVERYTHING YOU'VE GOT!" and with a finally swing, the large ape man fell down, knocked out as they all watched in horror, it felt like the whole stadium fell silent for a moment as time went slow before they all started to boo him, the three hargreeves looked at their brother with shocked and concerned look in their faces.

"shit" five breathed out once more.

"why didn't he fight back?" vanya wondered as unbeknownst to them, the man was staring at the crack on the ceiling, looking up on what he once called home, the moon.
