HYDRO [thinking]: An Interface upgrade? Now this should be interesting.
[Without hesitation, he accepted the update. The Interface immediately switched to a loading screen, the progress bar shooting up to 100% in the blink of an eye. He didn't even have time to question how fast it was before a list of updates appeared on the screen.]

HYDRO [whispering, eyes wide]: Whoa... Rift and Adaptation? Copy Skill and Memory of the World... What the hell is this?

This... this actually reduces the gap between me and stronger enemies. For every three points in this stat, it reduces an opponent's level by one. This is insane!
[Hydro's mind raced as he processed the implications. A stat that could turn the tides against powerful enemies and give him the upper hand? It felt like something straight out of a game, but it was real-his reality.]
