When Zhang Wuliang came back from Chen's house, he held a fat watermelon in one hand and put it in the well water as soon as he entered the door. He took a nap and ate one directly.
Then he went out with half a watermelon in his hand. When the sun was setting, he came back humming a song.
Chen Xiaonian saw that he was covered in mud and quickly found clean clothes for him to change into. Zhang Wuliang raised his eyebrows, drew a bucket of well water and took the clothes to go to the bathhouse.
Auntie Zhao saw that he was going to wash with cold water, so she said, "Wait a minute, I'll boil a pot of hot water now."
"Mom, don't bother so much." Zhang Wuliang stood there helplessly with the bucket of water: "It's hot, and I won't freeze."
"What do you know? You don't know how to take care of your body at such a young age." Auntie Zhao turned and went into the kitchen.
Zhang Wuliang didn't say anything. After watching Auntie Zhao enter the kitchen, he motioned Chen Xiaonian to help him watch and tiptoed to the bathhouse.
"Husband, this is not good, right?" Chen Xiaonian said softly with an embarrassed look.
"Shh..." Zhang Wuliang raised his finger to signal him to keep his voice down: "What's wrong with that? When the water is boiled, the sweat on my body will cool down, which will make me feel even worse. Don't worry, I'll be out soon."
Zhang Wuliang flashed into the bathroom, and when he closed the door, he raised his chin towards the kitchen, signaling Chen Xiaonian to pay attention.
Chen Xiaonian couldn't stop him, so he had to be worried and help him watch outside.
When Aunt Zhao came out after boiling the water, Zhang Wuliang had already taken a bath and changed his clothes. He and Chen Xiaonian moved a stool and sat on the newly built grape rack to talk.
Aunt Zhao had a mouthful of old blood in her chest, and finally "hummed", turned back to the kitchen without being bothered.
The grape trees that Zhang Wuliang transplanted before going to town were not taken care of because he was not at home for a while. Fortunately, they are very tenacious, and both of them survived. The leaves on the vines have recovered their spirits, and the few remaining grapes also look pleasing.
Zhang Wuliang picked one, wiped it casually, put it in his mouth, and then spit it out immediately: "Puh, puh, puh, oh, I'm so sour."
"Hahaha" Chen Xiaonian laughed gloatingly beside him.
"Okay, you dare to laugh at me" Zhang Wuliang pounced on him, controlled him in his arms, and began to tickle his itchy flesh with both hands.
"Hahaha, itchy, hahaha, no, hahaha, itchy, hahaha, let me go, hahaha..."
Chen Xiaonian laughed so hard that he was out of breath, and finally couldn't stand it anymore and started begging for mercy.
"Hmph." Although Zhang Wuliang stopped, he did not take his hand away and kept it there, threatening: "Do you know you are wrong?"
Seeing that Chen Xiaonian was just panting and not talking, Zhang Wuliang's hand was about to move again, which frightened Chen Xiaonian and he quickly clamped it with his arm. He did not have time to calm his breath and immediately said: "I am wrong, I am wrong."
With a hoarse voice, Zhang Wuliang's lower abdomen tightened, and he pretended to "hum" and wanted to withdraw his hand from him.
Chen Xiaonian thought he was still not satisfied, and hurriedly clamped his hand tightly to prevent him from moving.
