"Alright. Miss Raksha, Welcome to the board."

Raksha looked at the woman seated across her - Satya Agnihotri. The designation wasn't mentioned on the nameplate, she probably didn't work here but considering the grandiosity of the cabin, held maximum authority in the office. Leaning back against the chair she saw her keenly observing her with slight impatience and irritation, like every minute she spent here could have been used for doing something more productive. Continuous tapping of the fingers on the armrest caused the bangles to strike one another emitting a melodious tinkling across the cabin. Jet black voluminous hair rested on one shoulder. The entire get-up would cost Raksha her half a year's salary.

Rich and elegant.

Those were the words that Raksha would use to describe this woman. Everything about her screamed power and money. It looks like the woman has made some enemies and landed in the troubled waters. Raksha was damn sure her abrupt revocation from the previous gig had nothing to do with her irritation towards the former client's ancient mother's potty mouth but everything to do with Veer Sir's insatiable greed.

Raksha couldn't help but sigh internally. Who would believe this miser and greedy boss of hers was once a respectable army officer. He should learn from her about how to maintain their image as a former military personnel. Shameless fellow.

Clearing her throat she asked, "Thank You, Mam. Thank You, Sir. If you don't mind me asking Sir, Mam, whose bodyguard am I supposed to be?"

She saw Satya's lip curve with little more effort than a smile would need.

"My daughter's."

Wonderful.

Bodyguard.

Nope.

A Babysitter.

The versatility in her career should indeed be lauded. First, a diarrhea-mouthed woman who was ancient than time itself who could qualify as a fossil, and now a freakingly rich bratty kid for a client. How does she manage to get herself such clients? As if all this was not enough, she had a miserly boss to add to this mix. Speaking of Veer Sir, she immediately turned towards him only to see him making disgusting heart eyes at Satya that were religiously being ignored by the said woman.

Things this man does for money.

"Alright. When can I join?"

Placing the interlaced fingers on the table, Satya leaned forward, "You would want to meet my daughter before committing to the job, Miss Rajput. Might I add that she can be a bit....too much to handle."

Your lovely acquaintance should have done that and now it's too late to back off without feeling like-

A failure.

"Please do not bother, Madam. I'm up for it."

"Good. You'll be meeting her in 15 minutes. All the best, Miss Rajput."

Abhimaan stood with both hands on his waist while looking at the uncle-niece pair.

One had a guilt-stricken face and the other unbothered.

He wants to bang their heads together. They should be held responsible for reducing his lifespan by 10 years. He could already feel a headache forming at the back of his eyes.

Rubbing his temple he gritted out, "So you are saying that you not only forgot about your Geography assignment but also do not have the physical map of India on which you need to plot the river locations."
