'I think we should assist him,' A swordwoman in a red uniform, tries convincing the other two people.

'Don't be hast,.' The older male replies. 'We shouldn't rush until we know her motives. For all we know, it could be a trap.'

'Blades is pretty reckless.' This time, the lady in comments. 'However, I also agree with Durandal. Let's wait for a little bit more'

Awkward. That's the first thing I thought. I am currently sitting on a sofa in front of three people, who are discussing some plan against the scary lady. Earlier, another two people had taken the young man with them, leaving me behind. Afraid that I might be shaken, they told me to sit and calm down. It's a pretty hard demand. I mean, I've just been attacked, and now I'm sitting here in a foreign place, surrounded by strangers. With a cup of tea clasped in my hand, I try to drink slowly when my eyes land on the wooden door. Incidentally, it opens, revealing the two men.

'How is Kenzan?' The Lady asked as the three of them crowded around them.

Kenzan? I thought the green swordsman's name is Ren?

'He is resting now,' The tall man's reassurance seem to bring them relief for a second. 'But we have bigger problem...'

'None. We have no record of that Sacred Sword anywhere....' A long-haired man states in frustration. 'I've checked everywhere! But....'

'Before we continue,' The older man stops him. 'I think we should send the girl home first.'

Everyone's gazes turn to me. Surprised, I immediately put my cup down and stand up. For a moment, I kind of forgot that I shouldn't be here. This is the base of Sword of Logos, an organization that Grandpa told me not to trust. It's hard to admit, but so far, I haven't got any reason to hate them. They have been really welcoming. Still, I shouldn't let my guard down. After all, betrayal never comes from the enemies.

'There. That should do it.'

'Huh?' While I was spacing out, the tall man has put his hand on my head.

'Sacred sword, this man is a sacred sword.' I don't know how I found out. I just know.

'Good,' The older man's comment snaps me out of my thought. 'Reika, you should get her home.'

'Understood, Onii-sama.' Reika replies and tries to usher me out.

'W-wait!' I speak up. 'Before I go...can you please relay my thanks to the green swordsman?' Everyone suddenly looks at me, as if I have done something wrong. 'Is there something...?'

'Do you remember what happened to you?' The Lady asked.

'Umm....a swordswoman attacked me and....,' I shift my gaze nervously as they looked at me intently. '...and the green swordsman helped me...then...'

'She still has her memories,' Reika cuts me off.

'That's weird,' The tall man approaches and put his hand again. 'Why doesn't it work?'

'The last time it doesn't work is because we haven't defeat a Megid yet.' The long-haired man put a hand to cover his eyes. 'Perhaps, she's connected to a Megid?'

'No, this girl is....'

BANG

'Help! Rintaro is....'

The door bursts open again. This time, a three people come in. One of them is the one who saved us. He is injured and being supported by a normally-dressed man and woman. Everyone immediately tries to help them. My other saviour is back. His injury is terrible, and I'm a terrible person for feeling relieved. Not because he comes back safely, but because I'm no longer put on the spot. Right now, the only people left are the lady, the sibling swordsman, and...
