Jaelyrn had experienced the loss of loved ones too many times in her life. During her time in searching for her dragon, she had lost many of her friends along the way. The people that made it possible for her to find what she desired were gone.

When Jaelyrn impulsively gathered her friends and told them about her plans to leave Kelrios to search for The Terrors, they had been supportive and immediately offered to join her in her searching. They were all Lords and Ladies of Erios's important Houses but left their responsibilities to their siblings because they believed in her.

Lord Riko of House Vendal drowned at sea during a horrible storm when his ship was ambushed by pirates. His crew were all dead asleep, they had drank and partied a few hours prior- the distance of his ship to his friend's were too far for them to notice that the banner of House Vendal was burnt to dust and along it, the ship and Riko's crews. The young lord was like a brother to the princess, they were born on the same day and had been practically raised together. A brother lost.

Lord Hugo of House Leonbor never really had a good relationship with the seas, nor had he ever been lucky. The boy often got sick during their travel, his body was practically made of glass- no one wanted Hugo to come with them at first in fear that his body wouldn't be able to handle it. He was their youngest and most fragile brother- though not by blood they were all like siblings to one another. And they were right for he had died on the tenth moon.

Two out of five of her friends had died- though the rest haven't met death yet they had their fair share of scars and injuries.

Lady Isabella of House Skylord had it the hardest out of the four survivors. She lost her left arm when an unknown creature had bit the girl late at night during the time they stayed on a small- undiscovered island. No one had heard her scream and when someone did notice her disappearance, it had been too late.

The image of the strange creature ripping her arm off will forever be imprinted on Isabella's mind.

Princess Jaelyrn, Lady Swenya of House Rhayhem, and Lord Tiairo of House Highmount had been lucky to survive with no disabilities nor any missing limps.

They set out with five ships and returned with three.

The four years she spent searching for the two headed beast were the worst years of her life. Jaelyrn, her friends, and crew were met with several disasters and tragedy before they found refugee on a small island on their fourth year. The island had nothing that they could survive for long on but it did have a dragon, the dragon princess Jaelyrn had spent years searching in fact.
