this sadness that i have cannot be explained by you,
so you don't accept it.
my sadness cannot be understood by you,
so you ignore it.
it's funny though,
I haven't left because i don't want to hurt you.
but the reason i want to leave,
is because your hurting me.
my sadness that i have cannot be noticed by you,
so i hide it.
i keep it bottled up inside,
until it leaves me gasping for air.
i sneak it in the dark,
and in the shadows so you won't see it.
it's funny though,
i haven't left because i care for you.
but the reason i want to leave is because you don't care for me.
