"I don't understand." Xander stated. "Why would someone be that possessive?"

I shrugged. I was already freaking out, and now I caused the others too as well. Now, all we had to do was break the news to the boys. I got Danielle to say it- I was too nervous to even speak. I like how she phrased it, she didn't mention to them that they were.. special, to me.

"So now what do we do?" Max said, tapping his foot. "Are we really just gonna sit here and wait to be murdered?"

I shrugged. "And plus, we don't even know if he is actually gonna try to kill us-"

Calum punched my shoulder. "Oh shut up, Jacks. You already know your fake calmness isn't working."

I grumbled at him. Liam placed a hand over mine, attempting to console me.

"I had a thought. Does anyone have anything in their lockers that could help with this?" He stated, his hand gently covering mine.

The others shrugged, but Xander pitched in.

"Well, we should at least go check. Just in case."

I nodded. But something else was on my mind. Communication.

"Well, how will we all communicate?"
I shrugged.
"If we all get seperated we need a way to find each other again."
We sat in silence for a moment, debating the question.

"The nokias!" Calum burst out. He dashed over to the box and pulled out one.
"Eight phones, eight people. Simple."

I pulled out one and felt tape on the back. Turning the phone around, I saw the number seven taped on.
"Numbers. Can everyone take one and read their number out loud?"

Now, we just had to memorize the nunbers of each phone and who they belong to. I prepared my mind and took a breath.
"Say the numbers in order."

"One." Xander.
"Two." Makoy.
"Three." Calum.
"Four." Sukaina.
"Five." Liam.
"Six." Max.
"Seven." I said.
"And eight." Danielle.

"Alright, so we got that under control. Lets go loot our lockers."
I gave everyone a wink and headed down the hallway.

Our locker placement is pretty good. I'm right next to Sukaina, Danielle and Xander's are just down the hallway. Calum's in my locker row, so we also saw him. Liam, Max and Makoy had lockers just around the corner of the hallway that holds ours. So we all weren't really that far from each other.

All I really had was an extra hoodie and some granola bars. I grabbed the bars and stuffed them in my pocket. I don't know what the hoodie could be used for, but I grabbed it anyway. I was already wearing one, but maybe someone else can use it.
I pitched to Sukaina, "Find anything?"
Sukaina shook her head.
I looked up the hallway to see Danielle throwing her stuff on the floor behind her, like she was desperatly trying to find something.
Calum was digging in the top parts of his locker, and I wandered over to him.

"Find anything?" I ask.
"Yep."
He gives me a huge smile and then shoves a ruler in my hands. I look at the ruler and realize one of the edges had been shaved down. The other edge had been shaved upward and sharpened like a little dagger.
I looked back up at Calum.
"Why do you have this?"
Calum shrugged his shoulders.
"I get bored in class."

The three of us wander over to Danielle and Xander. I almost got hit by one of Danielle's flying books.
"Is the mess necessary?" I asked, touching her shoulder.
"I have something that we could use!"
Danielle then yanked out a giant thing of colored pencils. She waved them in my face like a trophy.

"What do you think we're gonna do? Stab him with a purple colored pencil?"
I retort sarcastically.
Danielle looked at me funny.
"You got any better ideas?"

No.

Me and Calum went to go check out the other three. On the way there, Calum looked at me, something sparking in his blue eyes.

"He really is gonna kill us, isn't he?"

Calum's words sent a shiver down my spine.
"I'm not sure. I'm gonna try my very hardest to make sure we all get out alive."
Calum gave me a soft smile.
"Yeah, I think we all. I don't want any of us to die, especially you."
I nudged him playfully.
"Well, maybe if I do die, it'll spark something in Tyler."
The glint in his eyes faded.
"Wait.... what are you saying?"
I bit my tongue. What was I saying?
"....nothing. Lets find the others."

We wandered down the hallway in silence to find Liam, Makoy and Max digging in their lockers. Liam noticed me almost immeaditly and smiled.
"Anything?" I ask, leaning against a locker door.
"I have a stationary set." Liam tossed it to me.
I opened the little tin box. It had everything a stationary set would have.
"I dunno, I didn't know if anything useful was in there."

I pulled out some of the contents and saw a shorter ruler. Calum brightened and waved his dagger of a ruler around.
Makoy chuckled at the sight.
"Y'know what, maybe we could sharpen another ruler."
I closed the tin box and tossed it back to Liam.
Max pitched in, "I got nothing."
The five of us headed back to the main hallway, back to the others.

"Well, that was a bust." Danielle said, putting her hands on her hips.
"What other place would have something to defend ourselves?"
"We could try classroom six." Max shrugged. "Its like, the main science- lab room."
I tapped my foot.
"Thats Tyler's homeroom class." I added.
"You got any better ideas?" Max looked me in the eyes.

Still no.

We all walked down the hallway, past our lockers, and opened the door to classroom six. The room was empty, only silence and air filling it.
"Danielle, Calum." I motioned to them. "Can you both check the storage closet over there?"

The two walked over there, and the rest of us dug around. I checked the teacher's desk; all there was some files and completed papers. In one of the side drawers, I found some fruit candy. Silently, I popped one in my mouth and continued digging. The grape flavor tasted bittersweet on my tongue.
I looked up when I heard a soft voice.
Makoy.
"Jacks?" Makoy asked, putting a hand on the desk.
"Whats up?" I say, closing the drawer I was looting.
"Are you sure this is going to work?"

His words made me shiver. The truth was, Makoy should've never came here in the first place. Technically we all shouldn't have, but Makoy has no place in this.

"No. The truth is, I'm not so sure. But, I know one thing, we are all going to survive."
Makoy gave me a soft smile.
Our little moment was interupted by Danielle and Calum. They were waving around scapels and scissors.
"This is all we could find." Danielle mentioned, shoving a pair of scissors at me.
The group huddled up near the teacher's desk, giving out the sharp objects just incase we needed to defend ourselves.

"Perfect. See, I told you-"

My words were interupted by a loud bang, coming from the front doors.
