Zahran POV:

Today was the day my sister was getting married. My troublemaker was going to leave this house forever. The only thought made me giddy and emotional.

Sheikh mansion was decorated beautifully with flowers of different kinds including lilies, tulips, roses, jasmine alongwith the fairly lights of different colors increasing the beauty of the house and telling everyone about the importance of the event which was happening in the house.

The marriage of Sheikh's elder daughter!

Abu and chachu were busy arranging wedding venue and food. Ami and chachi were preparing gifts and all other things for the guests of the Waqas' side of the family. Meanwhile, Ayat was clinging to Zara. Since her best friend aka cousin was getting married today. So she made sure not to waste a single second without her.

I decided to go to the wedding venue  abu and chachu but I got an emergency at the office. Our client from Dubai came today especially to sign the deal with us. So it was necessary for me to be there. Since I was the CEO of the company.

I walked past the living room and was heading to the main door but ami called me from behind. “Zahran.”

I turned around and watched her coming towards me. Putting my hands in the pockets of my neatly pressed black suit's pants which have the same color blazer and tie, I watched her.

“Zahran beta, please pick Zara and Ayat from the salon when you head back home from the office.” Ami said to me when I was about to leave for office.

“Ok, ami. Just tell me the time. I will be there.” I said to ami while glancing at my Rolex wrist watch attached to my wrist.
“At 4:00 p.m and be on time. Today is your sister's barat, beta.” Ami said worryingly.

I smiled at her and replied, “Ami, don't be so tense. I will be on time and everything will be fine.” I kissed her forehead and after bidding her goodbye, I left for the office.

*********

After finishing my meeting with my Dubai client, I was heading to the salon to pick Ayat and Zara. I knew the address because ami texted me.

After parking the car, I entered the salon and asked the receptionist about them.
“Assalam-o-Alaikum! Can you please call Zara and Ayat Sheikh?”

“Sure, sir. Please wait here.” She glanced towards the waiting area. Nodding my head, I sat there to wait for them.

I'd been waiting for them for 10 minutes sitting idly. I was getting frustrated and then stood up at reception again to ask about them but then I heard heels clicking on the floor. I raised my head and saw my sister and my future wifey -In sha Allah- coming chatting with each other looking so pretty.

MashaAllah!!

Zara was wearing a red lehnga which has beautiful red and gold embroidery on it which she bought with Waqas on their shopping date. She had make-up just like a bride had and was wearing red color earrings, tikka, nose pin, bangles and bindi with red high heels.

My sister was looking so pretty.
MashaAllah.

Meanwhile, Zara was wearing a maroon saree which Waqas bought for supposed sali. It had maroon and gold embroidery on it. She was not wearing such makeup. Just base along with red nude lipstick, liner and mascara, blush and eyeshadow yet she was looking elegant. She had golden earrings, bangles and bindi and she was wearing the same color heels.

My heart skipped a beat watching her. Time seemed to stop moving and I was in the world where just she and I existed.

I came out of my lala land by Zara's voice. “Bhai, hurry up! I am tired already.” I smiled at her yet teased her. “You know what troublemaker, you have so much makeup on. Yet you are looking like a monkey.”

“Bhai!!!!!” She whined and I laughed while Ayat joined me.
Her laughter was like music to my ears and I could listen to it for the rest of my life.

“Ok ok, I am sorry. My troublemaker is looking so beautiful today.” This time I sincerely complimented her. “And how am I looking, bhai?” Ayat asked me and my heart beated rapidly at her question.
“Uh.. You.. Y-you are also looking beautiful.” I told her with a nervous laugh hoping I wasn't making a fool of myself.

She smiled at my remarks looking satisfied. Three of us walked to the car and my sister as usual again sat in the back seat, leaving the front seat for Ayat.

After settling down, I started the car and headed directly to the wedding venue.

I stopped the car at the red signal on the road when Zara squealed in her seat.
“Bhai, gajry!!” She said pointing towards the boy who was selling gajry on the road.

Shaking my head at her antics, I called the boy. “Oyee bachy, bat suno.” The boy rushed towards me. “How much?” I asked, pointing at the gajry. “100 Rs each, sahab.” “4 de do.” After handing him a five thousand rupees note, I took the gajry and told him to keep change.

“Allah ap dono ki jori salamat rakhy.” He gave me and Ayat dua thinking of us as a couple. I involuntarily said ‘Ameen’ in the heart and glanced at Ayat who —if I saw right—was blushing at his comment.

The red light of the traffic signal turned green and I ignited the car heading towards our destination. I handed the two of each gajry to Zara and Ayat. Zara wore them immediately looking all happy.

May Allah keeps her always happy like this. Ayat, instead of wearing them, kept them in her lap.

Soon, we reached the venue where Abu, Ami, chachu and chachi and phupo were waiting for us.
