Asalam-o-Alaikum my dear readers. First of all thank you for 1k views on my book. I know it might not be much for you but it is too much for me. Thank you for this. Keep supporting.
Happy reading ❤️Zahran POV:
"BHAIII!!" Someone shrieked and grabbed everyone's attention. We turned to see who it was and found out it was no one other than my troublemaker. She was standing at the door of the kitchen. Adorned in a red beautiful anarkali dress with her hair free and some matching jhumkas and bangles, she was wearing a little makeup and was looking so beautiful.
MashaAllah!
"You are back so soon. Seems like Waqas was already fed up with you." I remarked playfully and laughed. I was aware of her arrival as Waqas told me beforehand. She must've ran to here leaving her husband behind. He must be coming here anytime.
"Bhai!!" She whined and I laughed. Getting off my seat, I took her in my embrace. Breaking the hug, she greeted everyone in a loud voice.
"Assalam-o-Alaikum.""Walaikum assalam." Ami hugged her and became emotional seeing her here. "Ami, please do not cry. Yrr, it took me damn 30 minutes to get ready." She pouted and ami slapped her arm slightly in a playful manner.
She took a seat beside ami clinging to her. "I missed you so much, Ami." She stated.
"All the love for your ami, nothing for your abu?" Abu asked, pulling her leg and chachu and chachi were watching her getting riled up.
"Obviously not, abu. I missed you as well." She interrupted immediately.
"It doesn't seem like." Abu continued. "I love you my dear abu." She got off her seat and pulled the chair beside abu, sitting there and put her head on his shoulder. Abu patted her head and the rest of us watched them with awe.
"Assalam-o-Alaikum." Another voice greeted us but this one was masculine. It was no one other than my bastard best friend aka Waqas. Cladded in a cream color kurti with its sleeves rolled up and first two buttons opened and neatly set hair with sunglasses on, my best friend was looking handsome in his desi look.
"Walaikum assalam." Everyone replied to his greeting. "Aao betho, beta." Ami invited him to the table. He muttered a thank you and handed her the fruits and cake which he bought with him and took the free seat beside me.
"What was the need for it, Waqas? You should have come anyway." Abu told him to which he just shrugged his shoulders and explained.
"Zara was missing you all, so I thought to pay you a visit. It wasn't feeling appropriate to visit you empty handed." He finished and looked at my sister with the love filled eyes. In return, she gave him a warm smile. It made my heart satisfied seeing my sister happy. I made the right choice by accepting his proposal. He was the right one for my baby sister.
May Allah always keep her happy.
"Where is Ayat? She is not present at the breakfast table which is so unlike her. Is our foodie girl not hungry today?" Zara uttered, stopping us all in our track. Abu and chachu shared a look so did ami and chachi. Zara clearly saw it and I was sure she should've understood until now that something is wrong. "Is everything fine? Is she ok?"
And I was right."Y-yeah, she is just sleeping. She was so tired from the function." Chachi lied hoping she would buy it.
"Your expressions are telling some other story. Tell me what happened?" Waqas looked in my eyes asking me the same thing. I told him to explain everything later with my eyes. He gave me an ok sign and I became relaxed.
