Author's POV

The ballroom gleamed under the chandeliers, casting a warm glow over the elegant decorations. Ahaan and Eesha's engagement party was in full swing, and the guests were dressed in their finest pastels.

Eesha wore a pastel pink lehenga with intricate silver embroidery. Her hair was styled in soft waves, cascading down her back. She accessorized with delicate diamond earrings and a matching necklace that added a touch of sparkle to her look.

Priyank was dressed in a pastel lavender kurta, which was elegantly simple with subtle embroidery. His hair was neatly styled, and he wore a traditional gold chain, adding a refined touch to his outfit.

Sanjukta chose a classic white lehenga with intricate silver detailing. Her hair was elegantly pinned up in a sophisticated bun, with loose curls framing her face. She wore a pair of sparkling silver earrings and a statement necklace that complemented her outfit.

Ahaan looked dashing in a regal pastel blue kurta with silver accents. His hair was styled in a sleek, side-parted look, and he wore a simple yet elegant silver chain around his neck.

Kiara wore a soft pastel blue lehenga, her hair styled in loose waves that cascaded over her shoulders. She chose minimalistic diamond jewelry—a pair of delicate studs and a thin bracelet that added a touch of elegance.

Yuvaansh complemented her in a light blue kurta. His hair was neatly combed back, and he wore a classic watch along with his gold chain as his only accessories, keeping his look understated yet sophisticated.

As the evening progressed, Priyank stood up, drawing everyone's attention. His expression was serious, and he cleared his throat before speaking.

"Excuse me, everyone," Priyank said, his voice carrying a note of tension. "I have something important to share."

A hush fell over the table as Priyank turned to face Sanjukta. "Sanjukta and I are dating."

The announcement caused a ripple of surprise around the table. Eesha's face reflected a mix of shock and discomfort, while Ahaan's smile faded, replaced by a tense frown. His gaze locked onto Priyank, his eyes filled with a mix of confusion and anger.

Ahaan's expression hardened. "You chose to reveal this now, at my engagement party?"

Priyank met his gaze, unflinching. "I thought it was time everyone knew, given the situation."

Sanjukta intervened softly. "We wanted to keep things private for now. I'm sorry if this caused any discomfort."

Ahaan stepped out of the bathroom, his hair still wet from the shower, and clad only in his trousers. The steam from the hot water added to the charged atmosphere in the room. He grabbed a towel from the nearby chair and began wiping his hair, his movements deliberate and controlled.

As he glanced over at Sanjukta, who was sitting on the edge of his hotel bed, a smirk played on his lips. She was dressed in a simple white nightdress, her posture tense and her eyes filled with a mix of uncertainty and defiance.

"You know, Sanjukta," Ahaan said, his voice carrying a dangerous edge, "you looked quite stunning in that lehenga today. But you know what? You look even better under me, at my mercy."

Sanjukta's heart raced as she tried to process his words. "Ahaan, why are you doing this?"

Ahaan tossed the towel onto the floor, his gaze locked onto hers. "Because you betrayed me."

He then walked over to her, his steps measured and menacing. As he reached the bed, he leaned against it casually. "Strip," he commanded, his tone leaving no room for argument.
