House: Ravenclaw

Despite being together for four years now, and having a house together, Sirius and I had never really discussed our future. We were both the type that preferred living in the moment, but now that I was holding a positive pregnancy test I knew that had to change. Firstly I wasn't sure how I was going to tell him. It wasn't the easiest time for any of us, in fact it was far from easy.

We were in the middle of a wizarding war with one of the most evil wizards of all time who had set his sights on the Potters. Emotions were running high in the Marauder's, Sirius having become his best friend's Secret Keeper. Not only that but Sirius had upsetting suspicions that Remus was a spy for the Death Eaters. I tried to tell him he was imagining things but he was stubborn, and had grown immensely suspicious of his old friend.

A part of me thought now was not a time to bring a vulnerable child into the world, but another part of me thought that we needed a little bit of happiness and I didn't doubt that a child would make us both happy. It was a confusing time and I wasn't sure what to do, so I simply hid the pregnancy test and tried to come up with ways of telling Sirius.

Before I could tell him however something truly heartbreaking happened. A pounding on the front door made me jump out of my skin and I immediately grabbed my wand. Being home alone in todays environment scared me, but Sirius was out on a patrol for the Order of the Phoenix which we were both members of.

I peeked through the window of the door and saw Remus standing there. I had grown cautious of the man as well, starting to believe Sirius' suspicions so I opened the door carefully. "Remus," I greeted him with a nod.

"I've got- news," his voice cracked a little, this concerning me slightly. "It's James and Lily... they're dead," he whispered and I stumbled backwards into my home, my heart stopping.

"D-dead? Are you sure? How?!" I asked desperately, wondering how that was possible if they had gone into hiding and had a Secret Keeper.

"Voldemort killed them," Remus said bitterly, tears in his eyes but I shook my head.

"N-n-no that's impossible, he couldn't of found out unless-,"

"Unless your boyfriend talked!" He suddenly shouted and I flinched but anger soon filled me.

"What the hell is that supposed to mean?" I challenged.

"Your boyfriend was the Potter's Secret Keeper wasn't he? If had suspicions for a while... he's obviously working for Voldemort! He told him of their location!"

"That's utter bullshit! Sirius would never do that and you know it!" I shouted.

"I thought I knew that but I was wrong!"

"You can't be serious! Anyway I don't even know if Sirius was the Secret Keeper, he talked about himself being the obvious choice so he wanted to try and convince James to switch to someone else," I growled, clutching my wand tightly and I noticed he was doing the same.

"Are you accusing me?" He growled.

"Yes," I said plainly, not being afraid to admit it. "Sirius was right, maybe you've been the mole the whole time-,"

"Take that back," Remus pointed his wand at me.

"No! Sirius is innocent!" I yelled, pointing my own back at him.

"I'm afraid the evidence says otherwise Miss (l/n)," a recognisable voice said and behind Remus, stood in the doorframe, was our old headmaster Professor Dumbledore.

"Whatever 'evidence' you've got is wrong. Sirius is innocent," I growled, not lowering my wand. "Perhaps you need to talk to him," I gestured Remus.

"Are you able to alibi Sirius?" Dumbledore asked and I hesitated.
