"Are you sure I can't make you some coffee to go?"
Alastor shook his head before cupping your face to pull you in to a gentle kiss. "No, mon cœur. I can grab some once I'm back at the hotel." He rubbed his nose against yours and kissed your forehead- such a darling man. "I will let you know how things went when we see each other next. I'm unsure when I will be able to call on you again."
You smiled sweetly and leaned into his touch, reluctant to let him leave. The warm glow in your heart from being in his presence was addictive and you wanted nothing more than to crawl inside your love and live in him. What's more, he'd probably happily let you. Oh, the absolute bliss of being in love!
"I understand, darling. I've integrated your aura to the lock for recognized entry, so feel free to shadow over whenever you like. I have a couple of shoots on Thursday but I'll be writing scripts at home the rest of the time."
Alastor nodded and gave you one last kiss before his shadows swallowed him up. You wished he would give in and just get a cellphone, but your beau could be such a grandpa about technology. With a lovesick sigh you closed the door and walked to the kitchen to grab some caffeine. Yesterday had been such a dream, but it was time to wake up now.
Your phone buzzed as you were enjoying the morning peace; Velvette had finished your costume for your next scene and needed you to come in for a fitting.
Oh! You had completely forgotten about your pelt! "Argh!" 'I really hope it dried alright,' you thought to yourself. Maybe you could text Angel to ask Alastor to bring it to you- oh, but you didn't want to bother him when you would be getting out anyway.
You had showered with Alastor at his house; all you needed was some fresh clothes- well, something other than the dress you'd had on the last couple of days. You decided to wear a soft and comfortable lavender and black romper, adding a pair of black flats. You texted Angel to let him know you were coming over to pick up your pelt before heading to the hotel.
Thankfully you arrived quickly enough and Angel met you at the door, large wrapped package in his hands, looking worried.
"What's going on, sweetheart?" Your concerned question was interrupted by the whirlwind of a powerful deal being made, large cracks of green energy flowing over the entire building. That was Alastor's energy, with the princess. 'Oh no,' you thought as you watched Vaggie run up the stairs in a desperate fury.
You followed with Angel and Husk, the massive energy dying down as you all entered the room. Alastor looked very pleased with himself while Charlie looked... not defeated but determined, a fire behind her eyes that you recognized. She was preparing to fight!
Charlie walked out with Alastor after explaining that the angels could be killed, and you received a kiss to the cheek from his shade as they left to raise their army. You wanted to follow, to assure the princess that everything would be alright, but you couldn't- it would just be a lie. How could Heaven allow their general to target the home of the hellborn princess?
'Giving free reign to terrorize so he leaves them alone. Those angels are far more human than they would ever care to admit.'
"What can I do to help?" Your question made everyone look your way, and Angel's eyes softened on you.
"I think we've got this covered, toots. Don't keep Vel waiting. Oh, and I'm sure everyone will find out anyway, but keep all this on the down low. I can text you when we know what's going on." Angel gave you a hug before pushing you towards the door, and you walked away feeling completely powerless.
