I want nothing
but I have to keep loving,
I have to read new books,
I have to live my day thinking about last night's dream,
I have to eat ice cream in the winter,
I have to feel the sun during an unseasonably chilly summer day,
I have to smile at children,
I have to admire the gross things,
I have to watch the seasons change and come back,
I wish I didn't have better things to do.
