6 ~ Meeting

When I awoke I saw 6 faces peering over me. Ellie, Fanny, Nat, Sophia, Marcus and Ollie. "W...w...where am I?" I stuttered. Before any of my friends could answer my dad rushed over to my bed talking non-stop. "Dad, im fine" I tried to assure him. "Sweetie im really sorry, I was at a meeting with two new students and I didnt know that you'd hurt yourself" he said quickly. After assuring my over protective father and best friend that I was fine they all left.

I was walking through the hallways after school when I bumped into someone I didnt know. Her long crimson coloured hair was pulled back into a messy ponytail and her faded denim shorts were ripped at the seams. "Im very sorry" I said as I bent to pick up my dropped crutches. She stared at me and said "Excuse me, I dont mean to be rude but you look a lot like principal Ivey". Startled by her upfront approach I replied "yeah lots of people say we look the same, I mean just cause im his daughter doesn't mean I look like him" I paused "anyway nice to meet you, im Rose Ivey". She looked at me with emerald green eyes "Im Lily Blackers, I just moved here from Adelaide with my twin brother Noah, its very nice to meet you". I nearly screamed in joy when I heard she had a twin brother like me, composing myself I replied "I have a twin brother as well, Marcus Ivey, we live in Summerlight cottage, I suppose your a border?". As she nodded her hair fell out of its ponytail and whipped her face. "Hey do you want to come over to my house for some snacks?" I asked, her face lit up as she accepted my invitation. I had a strange feeling about Lily Blackers. She reminded me a lot of Aily and I wondered if they could be cousins or something. I decided that maybe, just maybe Lily Blackers would be my friend...
