After a few hours he said goodbye to Italy and headed home.
He was so happy to drive up the mountain and see his beautiful mountain house.
He quickly got out in front of the house and went to his house. He could already hear his dog barking. He started to giggle at the barking and a big happy dog rushed out of the open door, so overjoyed that his owner had come home.
Reich smiled and petted him excitedly. He also leaned down a little, while the cheeky dog tried to lick him, but Reich was already familiar with his clever dog's tricks.
"You won't get me!", laughed Third Reich and stroked his head before going in with him.
The dog looked like he was smiling broadly and was wagging excitedly. Reich gave his dog a kiss on the head, which made him whimper playfully and excitedly. Often Third German Reich believed that his dog could understand him and speak, especially while he was eating he made comments and sighed.
Reich saw that his dog was almost always with him. He makes him feel needed and liked. He knew the dog was still a dog, an animal, but he was still like a brother to him. He also slept in his room and sometimes in his bed.
Third Reich's animal companion was called Duke. He was a German Shepherd mix, which not many people knew about because Reich didn't want to say that his pet was a mix. Duke was a little bigger than a German Shepherd. He could reach two meters long while running and became very low, like a greyhound. Once he was running, he had to brake slowly or it would throw him. The dog quickly developed back problems.
Duke was a really sweet and playful dog who liked everyone. There were also some children nearby that the dog loved to play with. He would take a branch, a dog toy or one of the children's shoes and run around enthusiastically while the children chased him. This dog had already stolen a child's shoe once or twice in the winter when they had fallen in the snow and run off with it while someone ran after them. While playing, he would often grumble or bark to motivate the children, but over 95% of the time, he simply had much more stamina than the children.
Duke was also a kind of a lap dog, even though he was actually too big. He loved to be petted and massaged and loved to snuggle up with others. He could also quickly become protective. He was a fantastic family dog, even if his family consisted of Reich and everyone around him.
Reich repeatedly couldn't believe that his dog was already six years old. He got him four and a half years ago and the two have been inseparable ever since.
The Countryhuman went into his office and gave his dog a good pat, who was happy and wanted to give him one of his infamous kisses again.
Reich giggled again at the memory of Italy petting his dog and Duke wanting to lick his face. Duke sniffed his chest with his nose, he lowered his head only to be licked. He was such an intelligent dog and full of character!
He made kissing noises to tease his dog. Animals don't really understand teasing, but somehow this one does. The two of them teased each other from time to time. He made grumbling noises, which made Reich laugh, which he couldn't continue to tease and pet him, which also made the dog understand that the teasing was over.
Third German Reich sat down in his office chair and searched for the drawing of a blue tit he had started with his pencil before unpacking his pencils and putting on his glasses. Duke stood by him and watched what his owner was doing, when he realized that he was continuing to draw he sat down before going to his place and lying down.
Reich drew the tail feathers of the almost finished bird. Drawing calmed him down and was fun. He was drawing for half an hour before someone entered his office. "Reichi?", asked a woman. Oh, no, the Countryhuman thought to himself, annoyed.
"How come you sit here and draw and don't even say hello to me?", the woman asked. Reich looked up at the woman and said: "Hello!" before turning back to his picture. She was offended and outraged by this and left the man alone again.
Reich couldn't stand her. She was chosen to be his partner and have three children with her in the future, but he felt nothing like love for her. She was often sweet, but also pushy and she wanted to be seen as more valuable in his eyes than Duke or Italy. Third Reich wanted her away from his environment because she was imagining too much about them becoming partners. She tried to be more and more beautiful, but she was too young and pushy for him. This woman never gave him the time he needed.
Reich continued his drawing until dinner, but before that he received a telegram that Soviet would come early and stay with him for two or three days, depending on the weather.
He went to the dining table and sat down. An important rule at Reich, no one was allowed to eat meat or dead animals in his presence. That's why Duke didn't get fed by him, but occasionally he was given leftovers when he could eat them, like pancakes, which he loved.
Today he had pretzel soup with cheese in it. He enjoyed the delicious soup and even got himself another smaller portion. Duke waited next to him and Reich had to step over him three times. He was a good dog standing in the way and waiting hopefully.
"Duki, things are looking bad for you!", Reich said and the dog sighed in disappointment. The Countryhuman laughed and joked: "Aw! You poor little dog! Are you going to starve!" Third German Reich spoke in an overly dramatic manner. The dog lay to the side and grumbled as if to mean, "Again," while wagging his tail. Reich laughed and said: "Oh, you poor starving thing!" The dog grumbled again and dramatically wiped his eyes with his paws as if he were crying. The Countryhuman laughed even harder, he stroked him and said: "You poor suffering dog!"
He was given two meals a day, which he sometimes didn't like to eat because he wasn't hungry and he could have something better than dog food, so he wouldn't really starve.
Reich also cuddled him briefly. He loved his dog so much! He then sat down and finished eating before going back to his office with his dog and finishing his drawing.
He looked at it proudly before putting it aside, going into his room and continuing his book.
His room wasn't particularly big. It was almost four meters long and about three meters wide. He had two wardrobes and a chest of drawers, both made of wood. Reich had a small window that he closed. The Countryhuman had a nice bed with two nightstands, one of which had a lamp that he turned on to read. His dog was lying next to him with his head on his lap.
Third German Reich became more tired, so he went to the bathroom again and lay down naked in his bed while the dog lay on a mattress on the floor. The door was slightly open so that the dog could go drink and Third Reich could get his light. The leader read a bit more before turning off the light and lying down comfortably.
