Chapter 1: Was it just a dream?

 You slowly cracked open your eyes. You didn't feel dead... But then where were you? You blinked and slowly sat up, looking around.

At least, until you noticed something.

"Wait... why are my hands so small?" you gasped. Oh.. my.. archons.. you sounded like a toddler!

You turned around and noticed a pond behind you. Looking at your reflection, you saw... wait, hold up a moment - you had horns. DRAGON horns, [f/c] ones. 

"What the [insert curse word of your choice] is happening?" you asked no one in particular

Sounds weird coming from a toddler, honestly.

You took a closer look at your surroundings. You seemed to be on a beach, surrounded by water... and land... and more water.

You facepalmed.

Now I think like a toddler too...

But, from what you could tell, you seemed to be in Fontaine.. but not quite canon Fontaine. 

Although, you weren't completely sure. Honestly, your memory seemed blurred in some spots.

It sure didn't seem like canon Fontaine, though. There weren't any of the clock towers or majestic buildings, just wilderness.

"Hey! I think I saw someone over there!" you heard a person call.

Suddenly, a lady with dark blue hair appeared in front of you, looking bemused. She looked kind of like Focalor, but also different.

"Who would leave a kid out here?" she gasped.

Well, I'm sure my parents would...

"M-miss, who are you?" you asked nervously.

"My name is Egeria, little one," she said. She glanced around. "You should come back with me. It's not safe out here for someone like you."

Ouch. Not that she's wrong.

Oh wait, Egeria was the Hydro Archon before Focalor, wasn't she?? How far back in time did I go??

Also she looks fine-

Who said that?

"Ok, Miss Egeria." 

"What's your name, little one?"

"[Y/n] is [y/n]!"

Now I sound like Paimon.. geez..

"Alright, [y/n], hold my hand. I'll take us back." Egeria says, holding out her hand to you.

You grasped her hand tightly as a blue light swirled around the two of you and teleported you away.
