You blinked wearily as sunlight streamed down around you.

Seriously, how does this keep happening to me?? I shouldn't even be alive right now

You thought about the game from the mortal world - there was a story from Fontaine, wasn't there? Something about....

"Hydro Dragon, Hydro Dragon, don't cry!"

You glanced around, trying to get your bearings. You weren't in Fontaine anymore, that much was certain.

Is this Liyue? I mean, but it also giving Fontaine-

"Oh nvm its Chenyu Vale I'm stupid-"

Egeria described it as the "border" between Liyue and Fontaine, not quite Liyue, but also not quite Fontaine.

"Maybe I should go to Liyue," you mused. "After all, its kinda suspicious looking like a 10 year old out in the wilderness just walking around- oh and the horns part."

"Guess I'll just have to try and 'disguise' myself with this cloak," you sighed. "Not a good idea to be spotted with horns out in the open."

And off you went

You spotted villages around the area occasionally but you were careful to travel far far away from them.

I know Liyue has adepti-but that doesn't mean the humans won't do the exact same thing they did in Fontaine...

It took you almost a month, but you eventually reached the vast mountains of Liyue - Jueyun Karst.

Wow those mountains are tall.

Do I have to climb over them - that's going to be even more painful the doing it in game thou.

~a few hours later~

"Oh archons I feel like I'm dying," you wheezed as you reached the top of the mountain. "That took forEVER!"

You collapsed on the ground, staring up at the setting sun accompanied by red-gold leaves drifting down from the trees.

It had been an exhausting day. You had had to sneak past Qingce Village, and you swore one of the villagers almost spotted you.

You knew you should go a bit farther, but...

I'm exhausted.

"I'll just camp in a cave for the night, what could possibly go wrong?" you told yourself.

"Hey! Indarias! Come over here right now!"

"What's wrong?"

"There's a ... child ... here..."

"sigh Just get rid of them, we can't let a mortal see the adepti -"

"Wait.. a mortal wouldn't have those.. points"

"Seriously? You want to keep them?"

"Maybe.... OwO"

"Ugh... Fine... Wake them up first, at least."

You heard some voices in your dreams, and then there's a soft swish of fabric before you wake up to see a pair of sky-blue eyes staring into your [e/c] ones

You scramble away from the girl, pressing yourself against the back of the cave.

"Wh-who are you?" you squeak.

"Oh, I'm sorry for startling you. My name is Bonanus, otherwise known as 'General Chizapus', and the intimidating looming person behind me-" she flings her hand backward "-is Indarias, or 'General Musatas'. We're Yakshas!" she ends.

You stare at her, your mouth open.

Wtf?? Still like 2,000 years ahead of canon

Also those two are hot-

A Yaksha? Like... you frown. You can almost remember something about a certain Yaksha from the "other world", but...

Nevermind, it was probably nothing.

"Oh good job, Bonanus, no need to give away all of our information or anything." Indarias sneers. "Bonanus here has come up with the deranged idea that we should take you with us, since you're clearly not mortal." she points at your horns. Her tone is warm - but harsh.

"Oh, I'm, um, [y/n]. It's nice to meet you?" you tell the two of them

"Come off it, Indarias." Bonanus says, crossing her arms. "I'm taking her with me, and there's nothing you can and will do about it, got it?"

Indarias facepalms, growling slightly. "Fine but we'll have to tell the 'Prime Adeptus' eventually you know."

"No worrying about that now!" Bonanus scolds. "Come on, [y/n], you're coming with us."

"I still don't think this is a good idea, Bonanus-"

"Who asked? Come on, [y/n].

Don't I get a say in this?
