Everyone wishes to be somebody they're not at least once in in their life, you were no different. You wished for the thrill and excitement in life but it never came, you tried many things to just get your stomach to flip even once but it never happened. You could laugh and cry, you could feel emotions but everything was just so- Boring!

Well almost everything, you liked books, the stories they told. You mainly enjoyed fiction for their unusual scenes and adventures, one of your favorites was a Manga under the name 'The Promised Neverland' you liked to story and the expressions... Oh you liked the expressions a lot... You weren't heartless of course however you felt a slight joy seeing the character's facial expressions in certain moments. Especially Krone, when you saw her you got giddy how... expressive she was. Too bad she died quickly, she was getting more interesting.

Eventually as good things do, the Manga came to an end and the second season ended as a disappointment, though you still adored the expressions in the anime.

You were envious of character's lives, experiences, you just wanted some fun, some excitement. People can call you a lil crazy but boredom can do a lot of things to people. You were walking to the bookstore at the moment, deciding whether or not to read My hero academia, considering it was ending soon and you wanted to start reading as the last few chapters were running out.

But I guess somebody else had plans...

As you were crossing the street, you looked both ways and everything! A frantic beeping noise caught your attention midway through your journey, turning your head slightly with a bored expression your face contorted into a shock when everything around you slowed. 2 seconds away from being hit by a- truck.. It was basically nudging your nose.

You could hear your heart beating in your chest, your stomach forming a bottomless pit, your eyes being as wide as they could possibly be

Meanwhile.

The dark night sky peered through the windows, the only shed of light being the moon. Children in their individual beds sleeping comfortably through the night, all but one. A child just about 6 years old tousling and turning in discomfort, her expression showing as if she was in some sort of pain even if there seemed to be nothing wrong on the surface.

That child?

It was you.

You shot up from your position with a gasp, your eyes were widened and breathing was uneven while you vision was shaky. You could feel the hot tears welling in your eyes threatening to fall yet you didn't know why.. What happened? Where are you? Why did everything...

Hurt?

Your breathing felt like it was stuck inside of your chest, just barely coming out of your mouth. Before you knew it a choked sob escaped your lips and suddenly you started sobbing uncontrollably and loudly too, this action made you realize you weren't alone in this room as people from other beds shot up as well at the noise you were making.
