Frog Dissection.

~The Wheeler's House(Monday)~

"Jake?" Bree yells waking up Jake. "You have school babes!" She opens his blinds. That's one con about his room, He has a bunch of windows. Bree pushes the button they all open shining on his face and shining on his brown eyes.

"Okay, I'm up." Jake uses Devon as motivation and gets out to bed and brushes his teeth. He chooses a simple outift, black bell bottom jeans, and a black shirt short sleeve.

Jake leaves the bathroom, but he sees his tiny black box. Jake grabs it, opens it and cuts his wrist. Five on each. He goes again because why not, but is startled by someone who busts in the bathroom.

"Jake, break- what's going on?" Junior says as he sees Jake scramble to hide his bloody arm and razor behind is back. "Junior. What the hell? You don't know how to knock?" "Uhm, yeah.... Breakfast is ready." He runs downstairs and Jake changes into a long sleeve shirt then goes downstairs.

During the meal, Jake plays with his food and Logan notices and decides to break the silence. "So how do you feel, Jake, Junior?" Logan asks "Good." Junior says happily. "Jake?" Bree asks. "Tired." Jake says and Bree decides they should start heading out.

~Perry High School~

"Bye kids!" Bree yells and the two get out the car and Logan drives off.

Jake's been staying at his aunt's and uncle's for the week his dad has been "out of town" but he just been getting shit-faced drunk. Though he has to go back after school today.

Junior runs to Oliver and greets him. Jake takes a deep breath, and quickly puts his headphones in and plays Not Allowed by TV Girl. He walks to his locker and gets his books for Ms. Fairchild's class. While he's walking Oliver "accidentally" bumps into Jake and pushes him into the locker. He gets up, grabs his books, and keeps walking.

"Okay! Today you and your lab partner are dissecting frogs. Pair up and start. Jake are you okay?" Ms. Fairchild notices that Jake is visibly uncomfortable.

"I hate hurting animals and I have to make them bleed." Jake responds with. "Pussy." Oliver says and the class erupts into laughter. "Oliver, stop." Junior says nudging his arm. Grant snickers a bit, but Lext hits him and he apologizes.

For some reason Grant has hated Jake, no one knows why though.

"Jake, it's been 5 minutes. Cut the frog." Ms. Fairchild says and sighs then giving him the ultimatum. "You either cut or fail." Jake nods no saying he'll rather fail then cut into it. "I'm
disappointed." Ms.Fairchild says before checking on the others.

The bell rings and Jake runs out of class and turns his music full blast, now listening to Whie Ferrari by Frank Ocean.

The day goes by slowly, but he makes it to lunch only harming himself twice throughout the day.

"Hey, how was Ms.F class? I got a 'A' on the frog dissection." Devon asks kissing him on the cheek. "I got a 'F'." "Oh, it'll be okay. I'll come over tonight and make it better." Devon says putting his arms around Jake's shoulders. "You can't, I'm back there today." Jake says moving his boy-friend arms off of his.

"Oh. Well come over to mine." Devon says walking his boyfriend to lunch with their pinkies interlocked. "Doesn't your mom hate me? You know, I'm a 'bad influence'." Jake says. "Not as much anymore." Devon says after going outside to the garden and sitting with Grant,Lexy,and Junior.

The group always meet and have lunch in the garden away from everyone else.

"Hey babe." Lexy says and kisses Jake on the cheek. "Hey hun." Lexy does the same. "Hey hun." Devon says hugging her and sitting across from her.

"So, Jake how was your day?" Junior asks eating a Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich Annie made. "He failed his frog dissection." Devon answers for him. "No shit!" Lexy yells. "It's fine, just don't worry about it." Grant says stuffing a fry in his mouth. "Ms. F calls home whenever you get a 'D' or lower." Devon says  " Shit. My dad will fucking kill me." Jake says.

"Doesn't she know what's going on with you?! I swear I'll-" "Lexy! It's fine." Jake says giving Lexy a quick reassuring look.

While the others talk about school,parties, and Junior talks girls, Jake switches songs to WY@ by Brent Faiyaz.

"Jake. Jake. JAKE!" Grant yells and scares him. "What?" "My mom said she's getting us right after school." Junior says while on his phone. "Uhm, he's going back today." Devon answers for him.

"Do you always talk for him? Is he mute or something?" Grant asks and gets a snicker from Junior.

"Go fuck yourselves."

Jake gets up and walks to the bathroom and Devon let's him get a headstart, but follows.

He walks in and goes into a stall. He looks through his bag and finds the razor and adds fresh cuts.
