gabriella grew up in a poor home, her father was a drunk and her mother was gone too long to notice the damage that was happening to gabriella. gabriella was only five years old when her mother left and never came back, her father cared more about going to the bars and drinking with friends to realize that she was home by herself, she was young when she taught herself out to cook, do laundry and make sure bills are either paid or almost paid. the only person that gabriella had in her life that actually cared about her and that was her grandmother on her mothers side, who always made sure to check up on gabriella, she was the first person to get gabriella into ballet classes, which at first was just skating on her grandmothers pond every winter that she got into classes, and soon got a team signed up for school, when she was thirteen years old she got her first ever job at a grocery store, and she started saving money while also trying to keep up with money, and also go to figure skating practice and making sure theres a roof over her head until she pass her classes and make sure she got a good scholarship with figure skating so she could move away from the trauma and guilt that was living inside of her.

sweet and innocent would be the best way to put this girl, not saying she's like innocent behind closed doors, but out in the open she is very timid, shy and quiet which can cause people to consider her innocent, but once she opens up she can be quite wild and loud but thats only when she feels comfortable around someone, Gabriella can be flirtatious to the point where sometimes she doesn't know she's flirting, gabriella went into a dark patch after her grandmother died when she turned twenty years old, it was very sudden and out of no where and it broke her completely and instantly, but after a couple months of grieving she slowly started getting better for her. she is a very much straight forward yet isn't too mean about it. she wasn't the popular kid in school, she was the girl who cared more about figure skating and her jobs to care about anything else. she's very determined on she gets what she wants, and she knows one day she'll be going to the Olympics.
