Harley woke up to the soft glow of sunlight streaming through a crack in the curtains. It was 6 A.M., and her brown eyes blinked awake, instantly remembering that today was the dreaded night two of their strange adventure. The memories of the previous night came flooding back—the blocks, the monsters, and the teasing. But now, there was no time to waste.

With a sigh, she stretched and gently nudged the others. "Guys, wake up. We need to get ready for the next night."

One by one, the girls stirred, groaning as they woke up. "Already?" Ivy mumbled, rubbing her eyes. Harley nodded, her expression serious.

"Yeah, we need to be prepared. It could get even worse tonight," Harley said as she reached for her backpack, which they had wisely packed with essentials before the trip. They had extra clothes, food, and toiletries just in case. Each of them knew they couldn't afford to be unprepared in such a strange and dangerous place.

Ivy was the first to change, pulling on a comfy pink hoodie and jeans. She always liked to keep things casual but stylish. "Well, at least I'm looking cute while running for my life," she joked with a weak smile.

Harley smiled back, but her mind was elsewhere as she pulled on a violet cargo jacket and paired it with a white-purple jumper and styled her hair with to low pigtails. She wanted to feel comfortable but ready for anything. The thought of what lay ahead kept her from fully relaxing.

Charli, ever the tomboy, stuck to her usual look: baggy clothes that allowed her to move freely. "If anything comes at us again, I'm ready," she said confidently, tightening the laces on her sneakers.

Lizzy opted for her favorite blue jeans with a cozy sweater, something to keep her warm in the chilly theater they had slept in. "I'm ready, but I don't know how much more of this I can take," she admitted, biting her lip nervously.

Charlotte, looking effortlessly cool in her signature black baggy jeans and a simple black t-shirt, threw her hair up in a ponytail. "We just need to keep moving. We can't let this place get to us," she said, her voice steady but with a hint of unease.

The girls made sure they brushed their teeth—something normal in this not-so-normal situation—and packed up their essentials. It was a small comfort, something to keep them grounded while everything else was so unpredictable.

As the girls finished getting ready, they slung their backpacks over their shoulders and headed out of the theater, the eerie quiet of the place making every step feel heavier than it should. But despite the tension hanging in the air, the teasing picked up again almost immediately.

"So, Harley," Bella started, flashing a mischievous grin as they walked down the dimly lit hallway, "did you dream about Elijah last night? "

Harley groaned, rolling her eyes but smiling despite herself. "Oh my gosh, will you guys ever let that go?"

"Not a chance!" Ivy chimed in, her pink hoodie bouncing as she skipped a little to keep up with the others. "Besides, Elijah's probably out there right now planning how he's going to protect you again tonight. You know, like the knight in shining armor he thinks he is."

Charlotte smirked and added, "Or maybe he's going to fight Charli for your heart. Who knows, tonight could get even more dramatic!"

Charli, who had been walking quietly with her hands stuffed into her baggy pants, shook her head. "Yeah, right. Elijah's more likely to get tripped up by his own feet than win a fight over me," she said with a laugh. "And don't drag me into this, Harley's the one in the spotlight here."

"True, true!" Lizzy giggled, nudging Harley playfully. "Come on, Harley, admit it—you wouldn't mind a little rescue mission from Elijah. Maybe he'll find you right before a monster does, and you'll share a super romantic moment."
