As the clock struck midnight, the group was still reeling from the night's events. They had made it through the challenges, narrowly escaping the clutches of Blue and the others, but there was a cloud of worry hanging over them- Lizzy, Theodore and James, and Harley were still missing.
They had finally reached the cake table, and a balloon had just popped, signaling the start of their final scramble. The loud pop echoed through the room, startling everyone as Blue began to wake up.
Elijah grabbed Harry's arm, his face etched with concern. "We need to move, now!"
Harry, usually so calm, looked more worried than ever. "Where's Harley?" he asked, panic creeping into his voice.
The group dashed through the maze of tables and balloons, trying to avoid the loud pops that would alert Blue to their presence. They found a small exit at the far end of the room, barely wide enough for them to squeeze through. Elijah helped Harry and the others through, his mind racing with thoughts of Harley.
As they emerged into the open, they heard a roar of frustration from Blue behind them. They sprinted towards the exit, hearts pounding, until they finally burst into the night air.
They made their way back to Harry's house, their minds still focused on finding their friends and, more importantly, Harley. They were exhausted but relieved to be out of the immediate danger.
