Anav's POV
It's been five days since the accident and Dhara being my constant support system. Thank God I stayed in the hospital only for one night because Dhara stayed beside me that night in the hospital, and no matter how much papa, Rajeev or anybody else insisted, she was adamant. Now I'm getting fine, all thanks to Dhara and Ma. Ma baba came next day when they found out about my accident. We were not planning to tell them because we didn't wanted to put them in stress but when I or Dhara didn't attend the calls at home, they called Dhara's parent's home, which was picked by Drishu and she narrated everything.
Aah...It still pains to move my left arm. My hands and legs got stiff but Dhara regularly helps me to exercise. From making me bath to changing my clothes, she did it all, with eyes semi closed ofcourse. I told her that I'm not ashamed if she see me naked but Dharini being Dharini, when I remove my underwear, she don't even look down.
When I met with accident, only person came in front of my eyes was my Dhara. Ma Baba have each other and if I were to die, they would have been sad but eventually moved on but my Dhara, she would have left alone.
It made me realize all this time when I was thinking that it is just an attraction, it was love.
It feels like a burden of not falling in love with her, lifted. She is managing everything perfectly and I can do some of my work.Last evening, when she went to market with baba, ma came to sit with me and said she can see how much love and care Dharini has for me and that they are proud of their decision of choosing Dharini for me. She said she can see that despite accident, I look happy and satisfied with life, and that says a lot about our relation. Even I never realized how happy I am now a days since she came to my life.
Currently I'm sitting in the living room with ma. They will leave tomorrow morning despite mine and Dhara's requests for them to stay here few more days. They are adamant because according to them now everything is fine and they find peace at their home only.
"Satya..I will cook today" baba said while keeping the wet umbrellas in the corner, both of them are holding grocery bags.
"What did you people brought so much?" Ma is shocked seeing two loaded bags.
"Dharini said there are many items missing. Our Aanu always stayed alone, so how will he know? But she made a list of items yesterday of what she wants to buy after I ordered her strictly and today we brought everything."
"Dharini you could've told me before, I would've bought everything that you require." I said
"N.." Dharini started but interrupted by baba.
"Require? She bought nothing for her. I told her that I'm paying, buy anything you need or want but she didn't. Some things are for your home and others are for you"
I know my Dhara, she would have demanded Samosas if I were with her because she feels her right on me but she would never demand baba.
I looked at her whose eyes are down with shyness. If I were alone with her rightnow, I would have grabbed her and kissed her senselessly.
After dinner Ma helped me settle in the bed meanwhile Dharini is wrapping up kitchen. After 2 weeks her college is starting. ThankGod I already bought essential items that she'll require in college otherwise either she'll have to buy them alone or baba would have to. I think in a day or two I will start walking without any assistance. Though I can't ride bike for few days because, first, the bike got too damaged and its parts are not available in the village so they ordered from the city and second, doctor adviced me because my accident happened on bike so he thinks it might make me feel underconfident and nervous while riding bike.
I wanted to drop Dhara to college on her first day to boost her confidence and ward off any potential proposals by letting them know that She's Taken, but this accident ruined it. I'm so regretting this accident.
