June March stood on the precipice of peace. After what felt like years of suffering and loss, she felt like the unobtainable was finally in reach. They'd found the gold, she'd gotten JJ back, she'd rid herself of Rafe, her parents weren't angry with her anymore, she had a booming business and everything was looking like it might work out.
With the support of her family and friends and the normalness of their life again, she had the ability to get better, or at least try to get better.
The emptiness she'd felt for so long was starting to dissipate, and she started to feel alive again, safe...until one bad business move landed all the Pogues right back where they started...broke and looking for treasure.
