Chapter Two

Thanks for all the support guys! Here's chapter two: 

Iris's POV: 

Iris was exhausted. Midterms were in one week and she and Willow had been studying nonstop. They needed some kind of distraction... 

She sat up, causing some of her notebooks to crash down onto the floor. Pranking would be the best distraction, and she knew that Jolie would want in on it too. 

Quickly, she told Willow about her idea, and they ran across the house to Jolie's room, where she was talking to Myla and Summer. 

"I have an idea." Iris announced breathlessly. "And it's a good one." 

Jolie grinned evilly. "What do you have in mind?"

The next day, at assembly, just as the new headmistress, Dame Anya started to speak, muskgogs burped up their stinky gas up on the stage, spraying Dame Anya with the gas. 

Everyone in assembly started to cough, and quickly exited the room. Jolie, Iris, and their friends were already outside when it happened, and everyone was whispering. 

"Did you smell that! So gross!" 

"Sounds like Jolie and Iris finally did the rumored prank!" 

"There's no way THAT was bigger than the Great Gulon Incident." 

"Do you even know what the Great Gulon Incident was?" 

Iris and Jolie high-fived each other, thinking that they hadn't gotten caught until... 

"MS SENCEN AND MS SENCEN! EXPLAIN YOURSELVES!" 

Iris gulped. "Uh oh..."

Jolie's POV

It took Dame Anya three showers to get the stink off, and when she did she called Jolie and Iris into her office. The two exchanged nervous glances when she called them in. 

"I assume you have some kind of explanation for this, girls?" 

"Ummmm, it was an accident, Dame Anya." Iris answered. 

"An accident? You're telling me muskgogs magically appeared in the assembly room by accident?"

 "Well, not entirely an accident... We just thought it'd be funny if—"

"We were just trying to have some fun," Iris added. "It's midterms! Everyone's so stressed, and worried!"

Then, Dame Anya did something the two of them never would have expected...

Dame Anya laughed. 

"You know, back when I was a student, we pulled pranks too. Nothing like this," she waved her hand vaguely, "but I get it Midterms are nerve racking."

"But," she added quickly, raising a finger, "muskgogs? That's crossing a line. There will be consequences, and I will be notifying your parents." 

Iris groaned. She didn't want to think about how much trouble she would be in with her parents as well. 

Jolie shifted uncomfortably. "So... how much trouble are we in?"

"You have to clean up the assembly room, and if there are any more of these... pranks you'll be scrubbing the entire academy with your toothbrush!" 

"Ok, we understand, Dame Anya. No more pranks." 

With a wave of dismissal from Dame Anya, the two girls exited her office. 

"Well, that wasn't too bad." Jolie said as they walked to lunch. 

"Not too bad? We have to clean up the entire assembly room! Just us!"

"Hey, we could've gotten suspended or detention!" Jolie said"I'm taking this as a win."

Iris frowned, but she had to admit Jolie had a point. It could've been a lot worse. 

They started walking to lunch when Jolie nudged Iris with a grin. "So... what's next?"

Iris stopped walking. "What?"

Joli's eyes shone with excitement. "I'm just saying. If we're already in trouble, why stop now?"

Iris shook her head, laughing. "No way. No more pranks. We barely got away with this one."

Jolie waved her off. "She's not that scary. Besides, the muskgogs were just me warming up."

"Warming up?"

"Oh yeah," Jolie said. "Wait until you hear what I've got planned for next week."
