CHAPTER 9: THE PURSUIT

HUNK'S POV
Three of us were going to the market. I was in a raccoon costume. It was not too hot like i thought. I can see animals around us through my raccoon head costume . It's so awkward...many eyes stare at us but we just keep walking in the crowd.

" Hey, HUNK.... they are watching you..."
" Keep quiet, fatso! I'm just trying to be normal like the others!" I snarl with a whisper.
" You know i hate when you called me that.."
" Shh!  just act normally..." Liam said while being uncomfortable.
" Woah, who was that? A new animal?" A giraffe couple said to me with awe.
" I have never seen him before!" Now, the koala makes his comments on me."

" Oh heck!!" I was embarrassed.

Now three of us were in the market. The animals inside were stopped and looked at us, i think they only focused on me. It's such an awkward situation...i hope bad things won't happen...

" Er....uh, well...hai! How was your day?" Liam said with bitter smiles.

Now, they are continuing their own business, buying their stuff and paying, ignoring us.

" Feuwhh, that was too close!"
" C'mon! We need to hurry!"

We walked in this market, there were so many eyes staring at me and they murmured themselves. I could just ignore them....

" Ok, we need...to find eggs first, fish, and..."
" Oh, oh! Can i get ice cream?"
" No, Kyle. I'm not bringing much money, we could just buy the necessary things only." Liam said.
" Awww.... unfair."
" Hey, hey. Can i get marshmallows?" Don pulled his clothes and pointed at the samples.
" Aren't your mom not allowed you to eat sweet things after you get dentist?"
" Awww unfair!!" He stomped on the floor like a kid.
" Sorry, kids! Hey, HUNK. You want something else?"
" Urm..no, no thanks. Just buy damn food already."
" Ok then. Hey, if you guys want to buy something, make sure it's cheap ok?" Liam said before he went in a different aisle.
" Yeah!! I thought we couldn't get what we wanted! Let's go, guys!"
" Hey, wait for me, Kyle!" Don said, chase after him.
" Wait for me you troublesome creature! You will be missing if I don't accompany you yet!!" I chase them. 

I tried to find but damn, i couldn't find them! Until i bumped into a female gazelle. Her buying stuff was dropped.

" Oh sucks, I'm sorry! I...-" while i was trying to pick up the stuff, she was forgive me and said with nice and polite.
" No, it's ok. Everyone always makes mistakes. You don't have to apologise for that. Between, are you a new species here?"
" Woah urm, i.... just..a raccoon, raccoon.." i repeat my words while i was in disguise as a raccoon.
" Haha, you don't have to be shy while talking to me. Between, you look different from the others, yet very handsome... between, my name is Gazelle." She said with a smirk. Duh, has she tried to flirt with me?
" Yeah, thanks for that...hey, I have to go now. Sorry again for bumping you. Here, your stuff. I had to find the boys..." I was about to leave but she call me.
" Wait, you didn't tell me your name yet. What's your name?"
" I....my name... is Luke. Here, you got it. Bye!!" I left her behind. I had to find Don and Kyle.

Later......

" Urgh heck you boys, where are you!?"
" Hey, HUNK! Over here!!"
" Don, Kyle? What are you doing there!?" I approach him.
" We are here just to try a food sample."
" It's a fish sausage!! You had to try some!" Don said.
" Oh hai, sir!! Looks like you are one new animal here.. are you a raccoon?" A female cheetah asked me.
" Then what do you think i am look like, huh?"
" Dude, she just tried to be nice with you!"
" I'm sorry, sir... I'm just a newbie staff here. Between, would like to try our fish sausage sample? It's free!" She smiled while offering me a sausage on the plate.
" Nah, no thanks. I'm on a diet."
" Aww c'mon! Just pick one."
" Urgh, fine..." I picked one. (Wait... how I'm gonna eat this? With this raccoon head costume!?")
" HUNK....!!!"
" What is it, Don!?"
" I wanted to go to the toilet!!"
" Hurry up, HUNK! Before he pisses!" Kyle warned me.
" Oh heck, why this time? Hey lady! Show me the restroom!" I asked rudely.
" Well... It was outside in the corridor . Just go straight and turn left, you will find it"
" Thanks for telling me. Here, i cancelled the eating. Hurry up, boys!"
