CHAPTER 10: I BECAME YOUR COACH

" oh, nothing. It's just..if you don't want to eat that leftover fish, just give me. I was.. starving. Your cooking is delicious, you know?"
" Sure! Why not? Glad that someone likes my cooking." Liam chuckled.

With a smile, HUNK took the plate of fish with potatoes. He then ate frantically. Me and my brother stared at him with silence. I don't know why but... HUNK suddenly seems different. He was unaware of our conversation, he was busy eating.

" Liam...he eats so...fast.." i tell him with whispers.
" Yeah, i see it too.. but nah, he's probably just hungry. Remember that he didn't eat breakfast this morning? He was starving.."
" Yeah, you're right. I'm just worried that he.."
" Nah, just don't think about him. At least he ever mentioned to us that he's " omnivore." Both eat meat and plants. Between, fish are meat.
" Yeah, you were right...."

After that, we tidy everything in the kitchen and wash the dishes. After that, three of us walked upstairs. It's 11 o'clock, it's time for a sleep. HUNK was sleeping on a fluffy carpet. He covers his body with a blanket and his head on the pillow. Liam and I were ready to go to sleep.

" Good night, Liam."
" Good night, Kyle."
" And oh, goodnight for you too, HUNK." I said to him who sleeps in the wardrobe room. He didn't respond, i think he's already fallen asleep.

At 3 am......

I suddenly woke up. It's kinda weird that this room was dark. I wondered, why did my brother turn off the light? We usually sleep with lights on because we are afraid to sleep in the dark. And the weird thing is, the window was nailed shut with plank wood. What's going on here?

" Brother!! Why you..urgh, what the hell does it smell like that!?" I pinch my nose. I smell something, it's like... carcass for me. But when i turn on the light, my eyes wide open to see the stain blood on Liam's mattress. I fell in trembling. What the hell!?

" No!! Brother, where are you!? HUNK!!" I opened the wardrobe room, he wasn't in there...

TING!!

i just hear something fall in the kitchen. I was too scared. Where's Liam and HUNK? With my small courage, I took the flashlight and turned it on. I aim at the door and push slowly. I could see a trail of blood down the stairs. I was about to cry but i could just hold it. I slowly go down...

" Liam, HUNK! Where are you?"

When I reached the kitchen and aim my flashlight, i was shocked to see something disturbing. HUNK was eating Liam's dead body in front of the fridge!!

* Slurping, chewing, pulling the flesh out, sucked the eyeball out and ate intestine*

" H.... HUNK...?.. you...!!!" I said with almost cry in fear.
" !? I WANNA RIPPED YOUR HEART OUT NOW!!!!!!" HUNK turned at me and lunged towards me like a predator.

" Aaaaaaaa!!! Get off me, GET OFF ME!!!!"
" Hey, Kyle! Wake up!! It's already morning, wake up!!"
" Huh, b... brother?" I slowly open my eyes.
" Kyle! What the hell happened to you? Are you getting bad dreams again? C'mon, it's 9 o'clock. You haven't eaten breakfast yet."

Damn! It's just a dream. I don't know why but my heart feels beat fast, it just feels so real....

" Liam.... where's HUNK?"
" Oh, that human? He was waiting for me in the living room. We were playing a PS5 game but you still didn't wake up yet so I paused the game and asked him to wait while i tried to wake up you up. Wait...is that tears?"
" Oh, this? Well..." I quickly wipe the tears. Damn, did i just cry while sleeping!?
" What did you dream about?"
" Oh, nothing! It's just...." My word cuts off when i see HUNK knocked on the door and look at us.
" Hey, Liam. I don't like wasting my time. Could you just continue playing the game?" He said with annoying and crossed his arms.
" Can you just wait, human!? Oh yeah. Kyle, i already make omelette with chips. Hope you eat ya!" Liam then left and continue play his PS5 with HUNK.
" Oh, ok!." I just said while my smile turn to frown. Urgh, c'mon, Kyle! It's just a dream. At least, it wasn't come to reality isn't?
