Yes, naging champion kami. Recent lang yung Quiz bee na yon, I think last Friday. After that, when weekends came, tulog lang ako halos for two days.

Funny nga kanina pagdating kong school eh naka tarpaulin yung mga mukha namin ni Jho at naka sabit sa building namin. Si Jho, sabi nya parang Bill board daw.

Kung sa iba, pag may dalawang matalino sa loob ng classroom eh nagkakaroon ng rivalry, kami ni Jho hindi. Partners kami nyan eh.

Super close nga kami ng babaeng yun. She and I are friends since high school pa. We've been partners din sa mga debate, team projects, kahit sa sports din.

Pinagkaiba lang namin is, she's more vocal and mentally stronger than me.

Well, she is our Student President after all.

All-rounder yan eh and yes, ako yung Vice din pala.

Vice president nga but Jho doesn't give me too many responsibilities which I'm kinda hurt at first because I thought na wala syang tiwala saken pero hindi pala.

Being friends for so many years, alam na alam nya kung saan ako mas magaling mag lead or hands on.

I remember one time sa meeting namin, andaming nagrereklamong representative ng department nila na bakit daw kahit maraming trash bins eh ang dami pa ring nakakalat sa school like sa hallways ganon. Nasasayang daw ang funds sa gamit.

At that time, I noticed that mostly first years ang kumakalat, I had a solution that time but I was too shy to share my ideas kasi yung mga representatives that time ay medyo nag-aaway away na.

I remembered Jho, she was looking at me and na gets nya agad yung expression ko. Pinatahimik nya lahat and softly asked for my opinion.

She assigned me on how to maintain the school clean, which is what I'm good at despite na against yung ibang officer, Jho would just dismissed them. I was touched kasi grabe yung tiwala ni Jho saken.

And now, I can confidently say na I really maintained our school clean. Aside from that, I have other responsibilities din, but mostly Jho would shouldered it. Nahihiya nga ko kasi isip ko naging freeloader ako kasi parang binebaby nya ako sa mga gawain ko as vice president.

"Ang lalim naman ng iniisip mo, partner ah." I heard Jho said sa tabi ko. Diko namalayan na wala na pala yung teacher sa harap namin, it was already lunch time.

"I'm all ears, hmm." Dagdag nya sabay hila ng upuan nya sa tabi ko.

"Wala 'to. Kulang lang ako tulog kasi bitin yung two days rest." I reasoned out hoping she'll drop this topic na.

Tumango naman sya and may kinuha sa bag nya. Malaking lunchbox, tapos binuksan nya.

"Hala, ang sarap." I blurted out, scanning the inside of her lunch box. She got grilled chicken breast as her main, tapos may garden salad pang side, then may two cups of rice. Syempre di mawawala yung boiled eggs. May kinuha pa sya sa bag nya and it was a box full of assorted fruits.

Napatawa naman ako. Grabe, napaka healthy talaga ni Jho.

"Grabe naman yan Jho, dami mong nadalang pagkain. Mauubos mo ba yan?" I joked, ngumiti lang sya pabalik and binigyan ako ng spoon.
