Chapter 4

(shower scene song)

"Raven?" Robin shook Raven, to try to wake her up.
"Mhm?" Raven mumbled, still half asleep.
"It's 3:00pm."
With that, Raven shot up.
"3:00?" She asked, looking around the room.
Robin nodded, and pulled the blanket off of her.
Raven yawned and stretched, getting up from the couch. Right when she did, she felt blood rush to her head.
"You okay, Rav?" Robin asked, concerned for the Titan.
"Y-yeah. I'm just going to go shower." Raven said, walking towards her bedroom, to get to her bathroom.

"When you were here before,
Couldn't look you in the eye,
You're just like an angel,
Your skin makes me cry,"

Raven sat in the shower, numb. She liked the way the hot water hit her skin. It felt nice to her.

"But I'm a creep, I'm a weirdo,
What the hell am I doing here?
I don't belong here."

Raven mouthed the words to the Radiohead song, and frowned.
She looked at her arms, and gently touched the needle marks.
She sighed, and turned the water off.
She got out, and put on her black silk robe.
She put on just some panties, and a loose baggy "Pink Floyd" shirt. She decided with this, since she was just going to stay in her room all day.

She tapped her foot, and then quickly got the box, out of the mirror.
She buys from other countries, thanks to her teleporting.

After, she exhaled and put the box back in the mirror. She closed her eyes, and studied her heartbeat.
She jumped, startled by knocks at her door.
"Raven? You okay?" Robin asked through her door.
"Y-yeah I'm fine." Raven said, wishing he'd leave in her time.
"Okay... Well, I'm leaving for the day. I don't know when I'm going to be back." And with that, Robin walked off.
Raven exhaled, and slid down her bedroom floor. In a split second, another needle was in her hand.

Dick knocked at the too-familiar of a place door.
"Oh. Hello Master Dick. They're are waiting at the dining room table for you." Alfred greeted him.
"Thanks, Alfred." Dick said, entering the Wayne Manor.

"Ah, Dick. Welcome." Bruce greeted Dick as he sat down.
"Hey, Bruce." Dick greeted, and he turned his face to the female in front of him.
"Barbara." Dick greeted.
"Dick." She greeted back, and she smiled at him.
"So, what did you want to talk to me about?" Dick asked Bruce, wanting to get the dinner over with the two painful memories.
"I just wanted to see how you were doing, Dick." Bruce smiled, and Dick made a face of disgust.
"That's never a reason. You either want something, or want something." Dick said, rudely. He learned holding his grudges from Bruce.
Bruce sighed, and sipped his drink.
"Dick, I just want to see how you're doing."
"Then, see how I'm doing."
There was a long pause before he asked a question.
"So, do you enjoy being with the Teen Titans?"
"Mhm, yes. Very much. I get to be the leader of my own team. I'm happy there." Dick answered, truthfully.
"Do you ever plan on separating from them?" Bruce asked, entreated.
"Maybe, in the future. But for now, no where near splitting up."
There was yet again, another pause.
"What about when you get older? What about the name? The teen part, I mean." Barbara spoke up.
Dick was stunned by Barbara's voice, but he answered anyways.
"I'm not sure. Probably change the name."
Barbara nodded, and then grabbed her purse.
"Well, I'm going to get going. Have to be at college in a few. Nice to see you, Dick." Barbara said, and began walking out of the Wayne manor.
"so Dick. What's with between Raven and you?" Bruce asked, right when Barbara left.
"I don't know... I guess nothing." Dick answered, shrugging.
"I see some spark in between you'll." Bruce said, taking another sip from his drink.
"I have to get going, Bruce." Dick said, standing up.
"Alright. Remember, you can always work with us if you want in the future. Anytime. You're always welcome here." Bruce said.
"Thanks, old man." Dick said, smiling slightly. With that, he left Wayne manor.
