(FOUR YEARS AGO)

- Are you serious? - I looked at him while he was packing his bags.
- I'm serious, I can't wait for something to fall from the sky, - he barely smiled as he turned away.
- But you will be alone there, - I tried not to show my true expression. I wanted to scream at him not to try to leave.
- Not alone, I already said. My friends will take me in, - he zipped up the last suitcase and lifted it off the ground onto the bed.
- What friends? Aren't I your only friend? - I snorted. This guy is a complete disaster.
- You are my friend since childhood, I have known them for a couple of years, remember I told you when I was away, - he sat down in front of me.
- And you came back after half a year, completely changed, - I muttered, - but I'm staying here alone, - I lowered my head.
- We will text or call, I promise you, - he took my hand and smiled warmly.......

(PRESENT)

Graduation! Finally! I am officially a landscape architect.
After taking pictures with my classmates, we decided where to celebrate. My aunt was also here, she was holding two big bouquets of flowers in her hands!
- Aunt! - I laughed and rushed to her. She hugged me hard through the flowers.
- Congratulations, dear, - she handed me the flowers. In the other hand was a bouquet with a postcard. I knew who she was from, - I didn't know whether to bring and...
- Everything is fine, - I took another bouquet from her. Flowers are innocent after all. The postcard was tied with a ribbon.

Congratulations!
Jimin

That's all that was written.
I sighed. For my aunt's sake, my smile did not fade. I just smiled at her as I put the card back in the bouquet:
- I think we can go, - I looked towards my classmates and they were all moving towards the other side.
- Of course, do we promise to celebrate? - she laughed and we started towards my car.
- It's...
- Aaaaaah, - came a squeal from the side of my car, and there was my totally crazy friend Mila.
- You really are crazy, - I laughed when she hugged me holding balloons and who knows what else.
- Only for you, El, - she pulled back and smiled widely, - let me help, - she took the flowers given by aunt.
- Well we can go, - aunt pointed towards the car.
Of course, it was not very fun for her to watch us from the side, although she is used to it, after all, we always are crazy.
After I unlocked, we got into my "uncle", this car is really old, but I can't get rid of it. My heart won't let me.
After starting the car, Mila kept chirping about how lucky we were to move to London. She told our aunt and reassured her about her work, her goal was to get a boyfriend there and finally get into a happy relationship. Unlike me.
My goal now is to rest until I can settle down and find a job. I have to achieve my goal - to become famous as an Italian landscape architect:
- Did you get a letter? - Mila's question threw me a little off track. The aunts turned around and hit her.
- As always, - I looked at her through the rear mirror and stopped at the traffic light.
- He...
- He doesn't bother to call or show up for two years, so she doesn't need it, - my aunt answered for me and killed Mila with a look.
I laughed. I moved when the green light came on.
We haven't talked for two years. Absolutely. After he left, we communicated for less than a year and a half, until finally he only wanted to contact once a week. Then only once a month. And in the end, he congratulated only with holidays. Cards like this one.
Before leaving, he promised to write to me even in letters if he couldn't make it by phone, he broke his promise. Last time the letter was from Los Angeles, now I didn't even bother to draw attention from where. I don't want anymore. I'm trying to get that into my head. I have to get that in my head.
We have been friends since childhood, I have known him for twenty years. We have been friends since kindergarten and were never apart until he decided to look for happiness somewhere else. But it's better that way. After he left, I was in complete depression and it allowed me to focus on school, I did nothing but I finished my education and I will work in a job that could not be better.
I pulled into the yard of our flower shop and turned off the car. We all got out of the car and they helped me gather my things.
- I'm going to miss this place, - Mila muttered and slammed the car door. We all moved through the store towards the stairs. The flowers smelled wonderful.
- Don't start, I can't believe that you're leaving tomorrow, - the aunt was worried, although she wanted to hide it.
- We will visit you, - I came to her side.
- Of course, - Mila was from the other side. After laughing, we went up the stairs and aunt unlocked the door of the house.
Once inside, we took off our shoes and Mila and I climbed the stairs to the second floor.
When I entered my room, I put the diploma on the bed and the bouquets next to it. I felt tired. All the tension was gone and I could finally relax.
I took off my mantle and red dress. The hat was being tossed around the university yard when we launched them into the air. I found training pants and a tank top in the closet. I put my hair in a ponytail and immediately felt good. The flowers will have to be carried downstairs and soaked. I leaned the diploma against the desk lamp, looking at it and panting like a fool. I'm just so happy, I can't believe I made it.
After taking the bouquet in my hands, I was about to go out the door, but the postcard inside fell to the ground. I picked it up and just stared at it for a few minutes. I sighed. Will it ever be possible for me to forget him?
