After Jimin and I got changed inside the white building, we both meet at the fence:
- Did you manage to get dressed? - he looked at me from head to toe. I was wearing a white one-piece suit that tightened and highlighted my figure, long boots, gloves and a helmet in my hands.
- Yes, - I looked at him and he was also dressed, only all black and already with a helmet on his head, - give it, - he took the helmet from me and put it on my head, raising my head a little, I let him fix the helmet clip.
- Thank you, - I pulled away from him. The most important thing is to keep a distance from him, I am his friend after all.
- Let's go, - he opened the gate and immediately closed it after I passed.
I followed him. Jimin walked straight towards the brown and white horse in the distance. When he got close to the white horse, I stopped, keeping my distance from them. The boy next to him handed the reins of the white horse to Jimin's hands, the brown horse was grazing nearby. After the boy left, Jimin turned to me, stroking the horse:
- Come on, she doesn't bite, - he smiled at me and held out his hand. Looks like white is the mare here.
I reached out my hand looking a little fearfully at the mare who was calmly eating grass and I took small steps to Jimin and took his hand and walked even closer. He took my hand by the wrist and held it close to the mare. She didn't react at all to my touch, she continued to eat the grass with a glance:
- This is Lari, - he let go of my hand and I continued petting the mare, - she's the calmest mare here, but she's also very stubborn, - he looked at her and petted her along with me.
- It' s a beautiful name, - I smiled and stroked her mane with my other hand. She gave a gentle shake and snort, which made me laugh.
- Lightning is her boyfriend, - he pointed to a brown horse grazing nearby, - that's why he's always around, - he smiled at me. I nodded. He seems to spend a lot of time here.
- Do you spend a lot of time here? - I kept glancing at Jimin, continuing to touch the mare, although I couldn't feel her fur through the gloves, but it seems that I could stroke her constantly.
- Earlier, - his face changed a little, - now I don't have much time for that.
- And your friends?
- I don't have time for them either, we all see each other on work matters, - he did not look at me in response.
- You're a workaholic, - I said matter-of-factly and nodded to myself.
- I...
- How nice to see you here, - an overly cheerful voice behind me startled me, - Eli, - George smiled at me. He was also dressed and ready to ride.
- What are you doing here? - Jimin pulled back a little from the mare and looked angrily at George.
- Have you already ridden? - George ignored Jimin's words, and maybe he didn't hear them, but he was only looking at me.
- No, - I smirked, and I looked at Jimin, - Jimin told me about them.
- Maybe you want to ride with me? - George looked at Jimin and then at me. The smile never left his face, and it wasn't sincere towards Jimin.
- She...
- Maybe next time, - I interrupted Jimin, - since I came here with Jimin, I don't want to leave him alone, - I tried to keep a calm atmosphere, although Jimin was just killing with his gaze at George. I got completely caught up in their anger without wanting to.
- Next time then, - George nodded, - see you tomorrow, - he put his hand on my shoulder and gave me a gentle click.
- Of course - I nodded. He backed away, turned around and walked towards the other side.
- He obviously wants to get in the face, - Jimin's voice was angry, I turned to him and he was looking at the walking George.
- Don't hang on to him, - I muttered, looking at him.
- He's flirting with you, - Jimin looked at me, his face turning cold again.
- Let him, - I frowned and carefully touched the mare, she was not even a meter away from us.
- He has no right to...
- Jimin," I turned to him, - if he's flirting, that's between me and him, - I frowned. What difference does it make to him who flirts with me? And it wasn't flirting!
- I know what he is like, you can't be...
- Either forget this topic immediately, or take me home, - I interrupted him, and he clearly didn't like it.
He looked at me for a few seconds, straight into my eyes as if trying to read something in them, then finally he looked down and nodded weakly.
- Good, then let's ride, - he tightened his grip on the reins and held out his hand to me.
- I... - I looked at the saddle and then at him, - I don't know how, - I shook my head, the mare was tall enough, I didn't know how to get on her without hurting her.
- I'll help you, - he grabbed my hand and pulled me a little closer to him, - put your foot on the loop, hold on to the saddle, and when you push back, you'll sit on it, - he explained to me and I nodded and put my foot on it. I grabbed the saddle with my hand as far as I could, tried to get as close to the front as possible and pushed myself off the ground with a breath. I saddled the mare, she moved a little but Jimin got her under control. I smiled to myself, - good girl, now move forward a little, - he smirked at me.
As I moved forward, I barely caught myself when he was already sitting behind me, his hands on either side of my torso and holding the reins. My body was tense, I didn't know how to stay calm when he was sitting completely close to me, his chest resting on my back.
- Relax, - I flinched a little at his voice so close to my ear, - and hold the reins with me, - he took my hand with his right hand and with the other, I held the reins with him, - let's go around the wheel, - after he moved legs the mare moved from the place.
We slowly went around for a few laps while I tried to calm myself down. He was completely still behind me and held my arms tightly, my body was stretched out, my back was touching his chest and our legs were side by side. We are completely inseparable this minute.
- Scary? - his voice was calm and quiet, almost a whisper.
- A little, - I nodded, but no matter how hard I tried to keep my voice even, it shook.
- This is just the beginning, - he laughed and the mare instantly began to trot faster. It was fun and scary at the same time, sitting on such an animal for the first time I couldn't relax. And Jimin is rubbing against me.
- Jimin enough! - I shouted at him and laughed nervously, his chest vibrated, it seems that to him it was very funny, - Chim chim!!! - I screamed louder and the mare suddenly stopped, I tried not to lean all my weight on Jimin.
- But it's fun, - he let go of my hand and grabbed the reins with his other hand. I turned to him a little and he was smiling at me. I looked at his lips.
- I want to get off, - I smiled at him, turning away. As much fun as it was, I can't sit next to him like that.
He got off the mare with complete ease and I looked down, trying to piece together in my head how to get off and not stretch. I'm not a terribly pale girl. A guy appeared next to Jimin who took over the reins and Jimin held out his hand to me.
- I myself, - I nodded to him. I put my foot in the loop and moved my leg back. I let out a gasp as I put my foot on the ground, but when I moved my other foot, I almost landed on the ground. Jimin caught me with one hand on my waist and the other on my arm. I looked at him while he was looking at me. I did not take my eyes off his eyes for a few seconds, I looked at his lips and blinked several times:
- Thank you, - I stretched and smiled at him. He let go of my hand.
- Of course, - Jimin's voice was strange. Not angry, but not happy either.
The boy standing next to him nodded to Jimin and after I patted Lari one last time, he led her out. It was a very wonderful experience with the mare, except when Jimin just flew with her:
- For the last seconds, I would like to kill you. - I looked at him as we turned around and headed towards the white building. He took off his helmet and I did the same.
- I know, - he laughed.
- But thank you for this day, - I smiled at him.
- Of course, - he nodded.
When we got to the white house, we both went to the dressing rooms. I closed the curtain as I entered it and grinned like a fool. I will never forget this day and how close we were to each other.
I shook my head and concentrated.
I can't let myself think like that, I can't keep thinking about him because I'll go crazy.
I moved my hair from the back to the side and caught the zipper in the back with my fingers. I couldn't get it unfastened that well, and I was still wondering how I putted this on. I tried to pull the zipper down with one hand and the other, but it wouldn't budge. I don't know how long I've been trying, but I just can't seem to get it right.
Sighing, I dropped my hands and poked my head out of the curtain. There were a few girls here when we first arrived, but there was no one around now. After closing the curtain, I tried to grab the zipper through the new one, but it just stuck and it hurts my shoulder. I think I'll dislocate my arm sooner than I can unzipping:
- Eli? - I heard Jimin's voice behind the curtain, I didn't hear how he came.
- Jimin? - I lowered my hands and turned my head towards the direction where his voice was.
- Is everything okay? - he was right next to the curtain.
- No, I need help, - after I told him, he pulled back the curtain, - maybe you can invite a girl, it seems that the zipper is stuck, - I pointed my finger at the back. He had already changed.
- I can help you, - he went inside and closed the curtain.
- I think...
- Turn around, - he interrupted me.
I looked at him and turned my back on him with a nod. He ran his fingers down my back grabbing my hair and tossing it over my shoulder. Shivers ran through my body. I grabbed my hair with my hand. My gaze darted around this small space as he wrestled with the zipper:
- Here, - I felt the zipper move and he slowly unzipped it all the way, exposing my back.
- Thank you, - I mumbled without looking at him.
- I... - he pulled his hands from my back, - I'll wait for you outside.
He turned around and left through the curtain without opening it much. I looked after him and fixed the curtain. I took off my gloves, overalls, shoes and changed into my clothes.
After putting everything nicely on the bench and putting on my shoes, I left the cabin and headed outside.
Jimin was waiting right next to the entrance, looking down and kicking the pebbles. I slowed down and watched him. He looked very sexy when he changed into his suit, men in suits seem to be my weakness. Or maybe Jimin in a suit is my weakness?
- Ready? - Jimin turned to me and smiled a little.
I nodded, we both headed towards the car.
After all this day, I don't know how to not melt around him. He is as close these days as he has ever been in our twenty years of communication. I don't know what has changed, but I can't complain. As much as I have to avoid him, I love how close he is to me. If only he felt a fraction of what I feel...
- Well, how did it go? - Jin came to the car, I stopped together with Jimin.
- I think it's great, - Jimin shook his hand. He didn't show any emotion while talking to his friend, it seems that he is not having fun with his friends.
- How about your friend? - looked at me.
- She liked it too, - Jimin looked at me.
- Except for the part where he was running around like crazy, - I smirked at Jin and he laughed.
- Jimin is already like that, he likes to scare people, - he continued to laugh.
- He's not very good at scaring, - I teased Jimin. He rolled his eyes.
- Eli is hard to scare, she's very resilient, - Jimin explained to Jin.
- You have a wonderful friend, - Jin winked at me, - Jimin talked a lot about you, at first I thought he was talking about his sister, because that's how he introduced you, - he laughed. I smiled.
Here it is. My dreams are over. It would never be otherwise.
- Yes, we are like brother and sister, - I nodded.
After these words, Jimin looked at me, my insides were strangely clamped. I smiled at them, even though I was torn inside.
He will never see me differently and all those touches mean nothing, they are just my stupid dreams...
