As we drive in Tyler's truck I stare at the sky. "Alright what about these two little ones? Just west of enid" he asks.
I nod.

"Dew point is steady! Wind sheer is good!" I shout. "Holy shit! Oh my god! The whole updraft is rotating!" I shout again. "I mean look at those striations!" He shouts.

"It's low precip! You can see everything!" I shout. "Aw, she's perfect" Tyler says making me laugh.
"She's gorgeous" I mutter taking a photo.

"She's gonna give us something come on!" I shout. "Alright let's harness up" Tyler says. I strap into my harness.
"Uh, we're just gonna drop the trailer in its path right?" I ask.

"I'll tell you later" Tyler replies. As we drive into the tornado my heart pounds in hopes this will work.
"Here comes the kick!" Tyler shouts.

"Oh god, oh god, oh god" I nervously repeat. "Anchoring! Barrels!" Tyler shouts. I laugh. "Now!" He shouts.
As the tornado sucks our polymer into its funnel we laugh.

"Did you see that?" I ask. "I saw it, uh, did it work?" Tyler asks. "Oh, right, so many belts, it's not working" I say discouragingly.

"What if it's the model that's the problem?, how do we create a better one?" I ask.

~~~
As we stand in my barn we discuss our new model. "Wow these scans are impressive" Tyler mentions.
"I mean, it's a complete map of the chaos" I add.
"Tyler our moisture numbers are off, currently the polymer is only absorbing the existing raindrops, not the moisture from the humidity, we need to precipitate out more, so we need to make it rain" I explain.
"They were cloud seeding in Lawton a few years ago, for the farmers" My mom mentions. "Yeah, yeah silver iodide" I reply.
"We could shoot rockets of that, so the silver iodide coverts the moisture into rain, and then the sodium polyacrylate.. we need a lot of it... we would pull the water from the storm, increasing the cold pool, no faster way to choke out a tornado" Tyler explains.
Tyler calls Lilly and talks for a few minutes before we make our way to his truck. After packing everything up.
"Is this it? Or are you gonna come back before you go home?" My mom asks.
"I'm not going home mama, if I go Tyler's gonna come help me move my stuff out of the apartment" I explain.
I walk to the back of his truck.
"You got any idea what your getting into?" Mom asks Tyler. "I'm beginning to" he jokes. "Thank you for taking care of her, she really needed someone" Mom says to Tyler.
"We'll see you soon Ms. Rivera I'm gonna help your girl" He teases. I wave as we drive off. And just like that we had a trailer with the barrels on it.
Kate came to her senses and left Stormpar to be with us. I really missed her. "Kate our little idea is coming too life" I say with excitement in my voice.
"I'm so excited! Remember our little videos we used to make?" Kate asks. "Those were the days" I reply.
"Tyler take us up on that mountain!" I instruct from the backseat.
Once we arrive i stare into the distance hoping to read the storm clouds ahead of us. We realized that a town over was about to be hit with a possible EF5. "Holy shit, Tyler" I mumble showing him the graph.
"Get in the truck let's go!" He yells with a fearful voice. We drive and i immediately hop out at a kids ball park.
"Everyone follow me let's go!" I shout.
The sirens blare as I run through the rain that started to pick up. I'm staying calm for these kids but I can hardly breath looking at what's to come.
"The movie theater!" Dexter shouts. I run in and guide everyone to one of the theaters in hopes we'd be safe.
I hear the screams of Tyler and Kate as the water tower falls.
