◇Promise◇

The four friends started their projects and studies very sincerely helping each other with all the doubts. Every weekend they sat together to complete one project .

One Sunday in Madhav's apartment after completing the project ,

Madhav sighed in relief , " Finally its done !"

Revati also said with relief , " Yes , this history project was giving me traumas to become a history only ."

Radhika laughed , " That's true but within two days we completed it ! "

Baladev cried , " This project made me hungry , ughh so much calories burnt!"

Madhav raising his one eyebrow sarcastically exclaimed, " Bro this is a history project not a gym project how can your calories burned?"

Baladev keeping his one hand on the shoulder of Madhav , " Arreh my brother .." , looking at Radhika with smirking again said , " I mean everyone's universal brother, I did burned calories, they are brain calories. "

Madhav noticing the smirk of Baladev asked with curiosity, " Acha , why are you saying universal brother , huh? I don't even do the prayer saying the line " Everyone is my brother and sister" ."

Baladev smiled a little, " That means you are not everyone's brother?"

Madhav in confirming tone ,
" Obviously not!"

Baladev in teasing tone , " It means you will flirt with every girl you see? "

Madhav looked at Radhika whose eyes seemed to have the same question as Baladev, " Hey , that's not what I mean , I am loyal to my one lady love ."

Baladev continuing his teasing , " Ohhooooo, Sir who is your "lady love"?"

Madhav confidently said , " I still don't know lol ."

Radhika too adding spice in the teasing of Baladev said , " True you shouldn't be also , now you are in class 10 focusing on studies is main now ."

Revati laughing out loud , "Madhav got roasted ."

Madhav whose face turned red in embarrassment, " Yeah yeah whatever. "

At the time Yashoda Maiya gave call to four of them , " Lunch is prepared come fast before it gets cool down!"

The four friends went to have lunch after which they sat together to take rest in the room of Madhav when Revati asked Radhika in curiosity, " Radha , what's your aim to become in future?"

Radhika answered gladly , " My mom want to clear 12th class with science stream but I have clearly told her that I want to become an actress and she agreed that!"

Madhav who was lying on his bed leaning his back to wall, sat straight and exclaimed, "An actress?"

Radhika being bit confused about sudden change in Madhav , " Yeah why? What are your aims?"

Revati smiled brightly , " Baladev, Madhav and me , we all are having same aim like yours."

Radhika's eyes widened, " Wait , that means you all want to be actor and actress too!"

Baladev grinned , " Yes ! And Madhav even have a dream to cast his own movie!"

Madhav with proud voice , " I will be the best actor and director one day and my main leads of my movie will be you three!"

Radhika said with intense happiness , " That will be great and amazing! Our first movie together will be reach millions of hearts!"

Revati forwarding her hand ,
" Let's make this bond more stronger with a promise , a promise that will never break!

We will be permanent in this temporary world no matter what happens, we always will be together! "

Madhav , Baldev and Radhika keeping their hands on the hand of Revati , " Promise!"

Days slipped by in a flurry of equations and essays as Madhav, Radhika, Revati, and Baladev, their spirits high and their bonds deepening, aced their pre-tests , tests and projects. Each earned a stellar 90% across , their work admired by classmates and teachers alike.

But as the board exams loomed just a week away, Radhika found herself ensnared in a web of stress. Her math revisions felt like an insurmountable mountain. One evening, her phone rang, jolting her from her worries. It was Madhav.

"Hello, what's our star student up to?" Madhav's voice crackled through the speaker.

"Don't start with the 'topper' nonsense," Radhika retorted, her frustration barely masked. "You're the one who scores better."

"Is someone feeling the pressure?" Madhav's tone was light, teasing.

Radhika sighed. "It's just... math."

"Ah, that's a breeze. I'll come over and help," Madhav offered cheerfully.

Radhika's eyebrows shot up in surprise. "You'll come alone?"

Madhav's voice took on a teasing edge, "Should I bring a crowd?"

Radhika's cheeks warmed. "Just come already. And stop making fun of me."

Madhav chuckled. "Baladev is napping, Revati is buried in biology, and I'm done with geography. I'll be there soon. Now, hang up so I can come over."

Listening this Radhika hunged up the call .

With warm cheeks Radhika said to herself, " This boyyy ! "
