The next day tennis ball went down to the lab to get golfball for their first date. Tennis ball found her asleep at her desk (like normal) surrounded by stray paper (also nothing new) and a brand new note book. He woke her up gently, "TB welcome according to my research, most first dates are either extremely grand or are quiet and simple" golfball said quickly snapping awake. "Well golfie, I thought we could just go on a nice lunch date and maybe walk around while studying the hole in the moon." Tennis ball suggested "we have decided to go on a quiet, simple date" golfball said while writing in her new note book. "Let's begin TB"

The two walked up the lab stairs and found a nice table to sit at. As the two started eating lunch, golfball pulled out her new note book. "What are you writing?" Tennis ball asked, "I'm keeping track of our progress, our first date is an important milestone" she replied.

The two had finished their lunch and walked over to the moon to begin studying the rocks inside of it. Tennis ball was taking notes while golfball took readings of the rocks, they also collected a few for further examination.

"Today was very informative" golfball said, "yea the moon rocks had a lot of interesting readings" tennis ball said. "Yes that too" golfball replied. "I would enjoy continuing this experiment tomorrow TB." She said blushing, "That sounds nice golfie" tennis ball said.

The two reached the lab "I'll drop off the and record the data from today." Golfball said as she went down stairs. Tennis ball said goodbye and she left. She placed the rocks on the counter and pulled out her new notebook.

We had decided on a simple, quiet first date. During our meal we discussed science (as that is our normal topic) afterwards we studied the moon that lightning had zapped a hole in we used the scanner that Tennis ball had made to collect data. I enjoyed spending the day with him uninterrupted and I look forward to doing it again tomorrow.
