Neil, Aarohi, and Ruhi headed towards the house. As Ruhi and Aarohi were about to go inside, Neil stopped Aarohi.
"What happened, Chamgader?" asked Aarohi, confused.
"I need to talk to you, Chipkali" replied Neil with a strange smile.
"You go and talk to him," said Ruhi, pushing Aarohi.
Aarohi looked around and went to talk with Neil.
"What happened, Chamgader?" Aarohi asked, looking at him.
"Can we walk and talk?" asked Neil with a smile.
"Sure," Aarohi replied.
"What is your relationship with Ruhi like? After what Bhai did, I saw you smiling, and the reason is Ruhi, if I am not wrong," asked Neil, looking at her.
"Dil ka rishta. You know, some relationships are not meant to be told. Some relations are made by the heart, and my heart accepted Ruhi, and her heart accepted me," said Aarohi with a smile. She doesn't know why she doesn't want to tell the truth to Neil.
"Aarohi, how did your family behave with you after that? Why are you living with them?" Neil questioned. He knew it was a personal question, but he couldn't resist.
"Just because of memories, the house holds those memories which I don't want to forget-the time I spent with my parents. The pain this house gives me is the pain that made Aarohi Goenka who I am: the strong and independent girl Aarohi Seerat Kartik Goenka wanted to be," said Aarohi with pride in her eyes.
"Will you be coming to Bhai and Akshara's wedding?" asked Neil, looking at her confusingly.
"Why would I not? It wasn't my mistake; the marriage was canceled. If I do not come, people will think it was my mistake, and Aarohi doesn't take the blame for something she never committed," said Aarohi with fire in her eyes.
"Why did you want to be a doctor?" asked Neil, looking at her. "I mean, you are so strong that you could also be doing boxing like your mother," he added with a smile.
"When I saw Mumma dying in the temple, I decided to be a doctor that day. I will help everyone as much as possible; I will not let another child lose his or her mother like this," said Aarohi, with tears forming in her eyes.
The air was really heavy around Neil and Aarohi. They were silent for a few minutes, and after some time, Neil took the initiative to speak. "I am sorry, Aarohi, for making you remember your pain again," said Neil with moist eyes.
"It is alright, but I don't know why, but I was really comfortable sharing this pain with you. I never share my pain with anyone because I think sharing pain is a weakness. One needs to be strong enough to keep the pain in their hearts," said Aarohi with a lone tear in her eyes as she clenched her hands.
Neil didn't say anything and just looked at her. It was like he could clearly hear the pain that Aarohi's unspoken tears wanted to express. His heart ached seeing Aarohi's pain. He felt lucky that at least he had a mother to whom he could talk, but what about Aarohi? She had no one.
Neil took a deep breath and said, "Come with me. I will show you a place where, for once, you can get rid of your pain. Sharing pain heals the heart, not makes one weak."
Neil and Aarohi were walking. Neil was moving faster, and Aarohi was just following him.
"Neil, where are we going?" questioned Aarohi, confused.
"You just come with me," said Neil with a normal reaction.
They both kept moving, and after half an hour, they were standing outside a place.
"Rage room," whispered Aarohi.
"Yes, come on, let's go inside," said Neil, holding her hand as they went inside together.
They both changed their clothes, and Neil was just sitting on a seat. He asked Aarohi to break the stuff. Aarohi wasn't interested in it, but Neil forced her to do so. She decided to go ahead and started breaking things, remembering each and every pain her heart carried. Breaking the things was giving her relief. After some time, she started to have peace in her mind.
She broke many things and wanted to break even more, and she continued doing so.
"If you are done, then come with me," said Neil, looking at her.
"But where?" questioned Aarohi.
"You just come," replied Neil.
He took her to the room that was specially designed for children and parents who didn't want to resort to violent ways.
"Wow, painting!" said Aarohi excitedly.
At that moment, Neil could clearly see that Aarohi was losing her pain and just enjoying herself like a small child. Neil was genuinely happy for her; he didn't know why, but her smile was becoming very important to him as well.
Aarohi and Neil started painting. Neil was really enjoying seeing this childish side of Aarohi Goenka. Yes, Aarohi Goenka, who is one of the strictest doctors, was behaving like a child.
At last, when Neil and Aarohi came out of the room, Aarohi hugged Neil and whispered, "Thank you." Neil, surprised by this sudden hug, just looked at her and found himself lost in her smile.
The air was very heavy, and it felt like a storm was going to happen soon.
"Would you like to have tea?" asked Neil softly. Aarohi just nodded her head in agreement.
They both went to a nearby tea stall and drank tea together. It was a memorable day for both Aarohi and Neil, and they both enjoyed a lot.
After some time, he left Aarohi at the Goenka house. Aarohi was happy; her happiness had another level of essence, which Ruhi and Kartik noticed. Ruhi was happy to see her mother like this and went to sleep happily, while Kartik looked at Aarohi.
"I am seeing her smile like this after so long. Thank you, God, for bringing at least some smile to Aarohi's face. Please, bacha, keep on smiling like this and never let this smile fade." said Kartik, looking at Aarohi with an emotional smile on his face.
