"So, where do you want to go?" asked Neil, looking at Aarohi.
"I want to recreate the moments we spent with each other," said Ruhi, with some sort of pain in her eyes. Aarohi and Neil observed it.
"Ruhi, what happened to you? Have you cried?" asked Aarohi worriedly, looking at Ruhi.
"Matashree, Papashree, I love you both a lot, but now it's time for me to leave. I have only today and tonight, and tomorrow evening to spend with you," said Ruhi, looking at them while Neil and Aarohi looked at her confusingly.
"What do you mean, Ruhi?" asked Neil, looking at her.
"I need to go back to the future," said Ruhi, looking down. Tears fell from her eyes, as well as from Neil and Aarohi's eyes.
"Ruhi, but why?" asked Aarohi, looking at Ruhi with teary eyes.
"Matashree, please don't cry. If you both cry like this, how will I return? I want to go back seeing your faces with happy smiles. And now I will have my parents in the future, and soon you will have me," said Ruhi cutely.
"But to see you like this, it will take nine years, and waiting for you will kill me from the inside," said Aarohi, looking at Ruhi.
Ruhi and Aarohi had a special bond; that doesn't mean Ruhi and Neil didn't share a good one—they did have one—but Aarohi and Ruhi were once present for each other when no one else was with them. The past holds beautiful relationships of people as well as each other's hearts.
"Matashree," said Ruhi cutely, with still teary eyes.
Neil, who observed all this, understood that the time they had was to cherish with Ruhi, not to lose like sand slipping through their hands.
"So, what about ice cream, like we did on our first ice cream date?" said Neil, looking at them while Ruhi and Aarohi nodded.
As they reached the ice cream shop, a small smile came to their faces, remembering the moments they shared together, and they laughed for some time.
"So, which ice cream?" asked Neil, looking at them.
"Chocolate," said Ruhi and Aarohi in unison, while Neil just adored these two beauties.
The trio had ice cream and talked for some more time, having a lot of fun and enjoying the moment. As they returned home, she slept with Neil and Aarohi; the trio slept in the room just like a happy family.
The trio had a great time together, and the moments lingered in Aarohi's mind as she saw Ruhi. Would it be easy for Aarohi to let go of Ruhi like this? Aarohi remembered all the moments of how she met Ruhi and how they both shared a bond with each other.
While Neil was looking at the ceiling, he also remembered the moments spent with Ruhi—the unknown connection he felt with her whenever they met and the day he learned that she was his daughter, the happiness evident in his eyes.
Neil and Aarohi were both lost in their respective memories and moments spent with Ruhi. The love Ruhi gave them and the love they gave to Ruhi was something really special in their hearts and their eyes as well. To be honest, it felt just like a perfect family.
It was the next day.
"Good morning, everyone! I have planned a small outing for everyone. What do you say?" said Neil, looking at everyone with a small smile.
"What are you saying?" asked Harsh, looking at Neil.
"We all will go! Please don't say no; we will all have fun and enjoyment," said Neil, looking at everyone.
"So, Papa, where are we going?" asked Ruhi cutely.
"The zoo," said Aarohi, coming from the kitchen with a tray in her hand.
"Wow! We will go to the zoo!" said Ruhi cutely, while Neil and Aarohi nodded.
"Okay, okay! As Ruhi is excited to go, I am also excited because Ruhi's Mr. Cool is always by his side," said Kairav with a huge smile.
"Arre, I am also there, and surely I will accompany you," said Mimi with a small smile, while everyone smiled at Mimi.
"So, it's final! We are all going, and nobody is going to refuse," said Neil and Aarohi, looking at each other while everyone nodded.
"So, have breakfast, then we will leave," said Vansh with a smile, while everyone had breakfast.
They all had breakfast, got ready, and went to the zoo. At the zoo, they enjoyed themselves a lot, saw many animals, and had a great time.
"Matashree, Papa, look! I want to go on the lion safari," said Ruhi cutely, while Aarohi and Neil nodded with a smile.
Kairav, Vansh, Aarohi, Neil, and Ruhi went on a lion safari.
"Wow, so many lions!" said Ruhi cutely, while Aarohi just smiled at her. They saw many deer and other animals there. After that, they saw elephants. Ruhi was the most excited one, while Neil and Aarohi were just feeling sad with each passing moment because living without her smile for even a minute gave them a mini heart attack. But what would happen when she was going to leave them?
As they enjoyed themselves, time felt like sand slipping through their fingers, but they cherished those moments and lived them with Ruhi wholeheartedly.
"I wish Ruhi was with us," said Neil, looking at Aarohi.
"She will be with us in the future, but I am thinking about how we will spend the time until then," said Aarohi, looking at Neil.
