Seoyoung sat quietly, deep in thought about the Kim brothers. 'Why is it so hard for them to fall in love?' she wondered. Both Taehyung and Jin seemed so distant when it came to matters of the heart. They were kind, yet love seemed out of reach for them, as if they were afraid of it.Feeling restless, Seoyoung grabbed her notebook and started writing.
Why It's So Hard to Love
Every child is meant to be raised with love. Their parents should nurture them, and the environment they grow up in shapes their lives.
Thinking about the Kim brothers, she knew they were once happy, carefree kids, but something changed. They were raised with love, but at some point, they became aware of their parents' constant fighting. The tension in their home was always on edge.
Seoyoung knew how deeply that affected them. The fighting made them stop believing in love. They don't have a peaceful home to go back to.
As she wrote, she realized the truth. If they ever accepted love, would it accept their messy, traumatic past? Could someone truly love them despite the hurt they've lived through?
Seoyoung sighed, her heart aching for them. They need love, but they're too scared to reach for it. They need someone who will love them, no matter what. Someone who can be their home.
Finally, she wrote, "Their home ❤"
Seoyoung hoped that one day, the Kim brothers would understand that love didn’t have to be perfect. It just had to be real.
AUTHOR'S POV:
The atmosphere in the Kim household had been tense for days, an unspoken heaviness blanketing every interaction. Taehyung had made his decision-he wasn't going to school anymore, not until the final exams.
The weight of everything had taken its toll, and Jungkook wasn't in a place to challenge or question it.
He, too, had grown distant, carrying the guilt and regret in every broken action.
It had been ten days, Jin and Yoongi finished their final exams.
The soon to be uni students, along with Namjoon, gathered at Kim's house to finalize their plans.
It was a quiet afternoon, but the air was thick with the inevitable changes ahead.
Jin pulled out his phone, his fingers hesitating over the screen.
He and Yoongi had already made decisions about their future, and now it was time to let their friends know.
He typed out a message detailing their plans for the next four years-his major in film studies, Yoongi's in broadcasting and entertainment, both at Konkuk University.
He hit 'send' and threw his phone aside, not wanting to see the replies
"What about Taehyung? You should tell them about him too," Yoongi suggested, his voice steady but carrying the weight of concern.
Jin nodded, understanding. "That's right. I'll do it." He typed another message, this time about Taehyung coming along with them to Seoul.
Once again, he hit 'send' without a second thought. "Sent. I don't want to see their comments either."
Namjoon chuckled, trying to break the tension. "Whatever they comment or not, Hoseok, Seoyoung, and Jungkook are going to freak out."
"Hoseok will be fine, but why Seoyoung and Jungkook?" Yoongi asked, a little confused.
