He looked confused. "It was a dare. Sorry about that. Don't worry about it, alright? See you tomorrow!" You said in a playful tone and left the classroom. In reality, it was not a bet at all.. it was real, it was a real feeling towards him. 'It's okay, Ivy, at least you know his feelings towards you. What a lucky save..' Inner you.
Next day came and you decided to go to school earlier than usual. You saw something that made you stop in your tracks and made your eyes watery. You saw Aiden and a girl. They were chatting and laughing. There goes your heart, broken. "Thank you for the heads up!" She said and smiled widely at him. "What? Come on, not you too." He sulked which made her ruffled his hair. 'They're really in love with each other, don't they? Good for him.' Inner you, trying to be positive about it, and as a distraction from crying. "Uhh, I think I will go to class first! See ya!" You said, ready to leave when he grabbed your arm. "Wait! Go with us!" He said. "What the? No way, you have to spend time with Carey as a couple. Not with me. Come on, be a good boyfriend. I'll go first, see ya!" You said and walked fast. You placed your bag down and went to the toilet. You took out your phone and typed out your feelings into the note in your phone.

Your tears fell on your phone as you typed all of that and finally broke down at the end. Moments later, you get yourself together and wash your face. 'It's okay, smile.' Inner you and you smiled.
