I drifted slowly into the building, my hands slightly shaking. Did I do the right thing?

No...i..i didn't do what I wanted.

But...then why didn't I do anything..?

I know I wanted to go back, to go help her up, to apologize.

But I didn't.

I did what she wanted.

What she wanted to see out of me.

Not what I wanted to see out of myself.

Why did I do it?

"Earth to Vee? Can you hear me?!" a voice screamed, sounding worried.

I turned around to see a slightly anxious Glisten and Toodles, both of them staring at me worriedly. "Vee are you okay..? I know that face."

Truly, no...everything was not okay..was I going to tell him that? No.

"Oh don't get so worried Glisten, I'm" I stopped, glitching slightly. "I'm..fine."

He glared at me before turning to toodles, kneeling to her height and whispering into her ear. She nodded and ran off, waving a good bye to the both of us.

Glisten walked towards me, grabbing my hand. "Come on, were going to my room to talk."

I tried to protest, wanting to say something, but nothing came out of my mouth.

After a few minutes of walking, we had made it to the elevator. Glisten had finally let go of me.

"Vee, what happened..?"

"Well..I..I.." I stammered, trying to come up with a response.

He sighed, walking in front of me and grabbing my arms. "Vee, I hope you know I'm here, even for the bad, for the good, for anything. I'm always going to be here for you and I promise, you can tell me whatever's on you mind."

I flinched slightly "I suppose.."

However before I could finish my sentence, the elevator abruptly opened, revealing the first floor of normal toon rooms. "You can just tell me more when we get to my room, now come on, follow me."
