Midnight Stealth (Sylus)

I was sneaked into Sylus's room to look for the brooch that is hiding somewhere in his room.

Sylus was taking a shower, that gave me the oppertunity to sneak into his room.

He's mechanical crow Mephisto was on his stand watching me going through the drawers next the the bed. But he didn't caw or alerted Sylus.

I sighed disappiontment as i closed the drawer, when i couldn't find the brooch in one of them.

I spotted some clothes on top of his bed. "Please, don't tell me." I walk over to the bed and check his clothes if the brooch is there, but it wasn't on his clothes either.

"It's not here either, it's not in the drawers or in the closets it's not anywhere in this bedroom." I said in a low tone so that Sylus couldn't hear me. "Where else could he hide it?"

I looked at foggy grass window, where i can see Sylus's figure in there. "Did he take it to the bathroom?" I asked myself as Mephisto caws like he's laughing at me.

I walk march over to him, "did you eat it?" I asked him but he turn his head away from me.

I grab him, "you better answer me, bird!" I shouted quietly as i shake him demanding an answers as he caws.

Suddenly i heard thud noise inside the bathroom. And i saw Sylus getting ready to come out of the bathroom. "Damn it, i need to hide." I quickly placed Mephisto back on his stand and the hide behind the desk.

Sylus come out of the bathroom, while his towel was wrapped around his waist and shoulder, his hair and body dripping with water.

'Why does he have to come out on...." i thought to myself as i watch him walk over to the bed, when i saw him about to put on a robe i looked at the door. 'Now's my chance to escape!'

I watch walking slowly to the door when suddenly the phone rang. I quickly ducked in the desk again as Sylus answers the phone.

'Mr. Sylus, we found a list of all the attendess from that night at The Nest.'

I heard a voice said, Sylus turn away to rub his wet hair as he listen.

'About that night...'

'That night at The Nest? Does it involve me?' I looked at the phone where is sat on the table. I decided to eavesdrop on their conversation.

But i heard a gasped above from me, i looked up to see Sylus looking down on me.

I gave him a nervous smile and a a small wave, he gave me a smirk, 'Mr. Sylus?' The man in the phone called out his name as he continued looking at me and giving me that smirk.

"It's nothing. Just a stary cat who happened to barge in." Sylus replied as he used his Evol to tie my wrist together and then lift me up from the floor.

'A cat?" The guy in the phone asked confused.

"Sylus! You put me down! I'll...." i was struggling to break free.

'I-i'll leave you alone now....!' The man on the phone said as he hang up the phone and Sylus finally put me down.

I frowned at him making him chuckled a bit.

Later, he got in his robe while he check on some records on his shelf as i sat down on the chair looking down at the floor.

Sylus grab a record from the shelf, "Y/n, this is the fourth time we've met since last night, kitten." He said, i sighed annoyingly. ".....you set a time limit for finding the brooch, but you didn't say how i should find it. I doubt i'm breaking any rules." I said as i try to break free from the binds.
