Dreams Within Reach (Xavier)

Xavier and i return back to our apartment building as we carried some grocery bags.

"I seem to have fallen into your trap today." Xavier said we walk to my home. "You said you'd take me out for a nice meal, but this "nice meal" turned out to be just roadside ramen. Then you dragged me to thr grocery store after eating."

At the front door, Xavier lifts up two bags of grocieries and shakes them at me. "I'm practically a free mule, carrying these two huge bags of groceries home for you." He said making i smiled at him nervously. ".....i got a mission on the short notice. It really was beyond my control. Are you upset with me?" I ask giving him that sad look.

"I'm not upset. I did it on my own volition." He said as we walked to my apartment home, i smiled at him. "Yes, you are! I'll invite you out to eat again. Two more times!" I said happily.

"All right. But i don't want to eat that special tomato egg chili ramen from today's restaurant again." Xavier said making me laugh a bit,

We made it to my apartment home, i press the passcode on my door as the door opened. "You're home now. I should be heading back." Xavier said as he put the grocery bags down on the floor and turns to leave. I quickly grab his sleeve.

"Xavier, wait!" I shouted stopping him. He looked at me confused, "hmm? Why are you grabbing me? Have more hard labor for me to do?" He ask jokingly, i shake my head. "Nothing unreasonable like that. I just want your help with something...."

"All right. You have ten minutes." He said as he walked in my home and i closed the door behind him.

After a hectic time, we finally stuffed all the groceries into the cupboard.

"We are finally finished. Thank you for helping." I said as i turn to Xavier. "Yup. But that was way longer than ten minutes." He said as he stretched his arms a bit. "So you did plan for me to do hard labor all along." He said jokingly,

"No i wasn't." I deffended myself, i stretched my arms and body. "Ahhh....since we are done, why do you take a break. While i go and wash the strawberries!" I said as i slip into the kitchen with the strawberries in my hand, planning to rewaed Xavier for his hard work.

Xavier quickly followed me into the kitchen and leans against the door frame. "I didn't notice it just now, but you seem to have bought a lot of strange things. I'm suprised that anyone would actually buy those fruit flavored frozen foods...." He said,

"Also that simging spoon. Will listening to "Ode to joy" while eating make the food taste better?" He ask, i glaned at him. "Well, isn't that the joy of shopping? In any case, thank you for all your help! You're a real saint!" I said as i finished washing the strawberries.

I hustel Xavier back into the living room and push this "real saint" onto the sofa. "Sit and rest for a bit. I heard there are some good movies to watch." I said as i sit down beside him. I grab the remote and turned on the tv then started finishing for a movie to watch.

"What do you want to watch? From the stars?" He ask as i press the movie. "This critically acclaimed flim will take you on a romantic journey under the starry sky, where dream interwine with realilty...." he read the explaination on the movie.

Xavier turn to me, "are you sure you want to watch that?" He ask, i turn to him. "Not interested? Then what do you want to watch? Seeing that i almost ditched you today, i'll let you decide." I said as i handed the remote to him.

He started looking for a movie, "the system seems to have all the most popular recent films....." he said as he look through all the movies. "Strange love, warrior of light, my day with a Deepspace hunter...."
