"Oh woe unto me! Verily, I say unto thee, mine affliction doth surpass all that hath been known in this realm. For lo, mine nose doth runneth like the rivers of Babylon, and mine head is as heavy as a boulder upon mine shoulders. Surely, no mortal hath suffered as I suffer now, for a mere cough doth slay me with every breath! Let it be known throughout the land that I am nigh unto death, though it be but a common cold!". Rei said dramatically panting with a hand on her head.
"Cut the crap and go to bed dude" Mika murmured.
"It's not as easy as it looks" Rei said then she paused and sneezed "I need to be under the perfect conditions to sleep I'm fragile so I need to be pampered" Rei explained in a fancy voice.
"I've seen you sleep in the bathtub and you weren't even taking a bath don't even bother trying to make me believe that you out of everyone on the planet needs anything better than an actual bed to fall asleep" Mika replied in an exhausted voice.
"You know Mika you're so inconsiderate I'm here literally on my death bed and you won't even come fluff my pillow" Rei said feeling betrayed.
Mika just looked at her incredulous and says "I'm now completely sure my guardian angel is a crackhead".
"Oh Mika don't be dramatic, c'mon you know you want to come fluff my pillow". Rei said with a cheeky expression.
"What in God's name gave you the impression that i-".
"Fluff it". Rei says cutting Mika off
"Did you just-" Mika tried to talk again the second time but was cut off by an overly excited Rei.
"Fluff it". Rei said with a smile "you know you want to so just do it just a little fluff just one puff".
"You sound like those sketchy guys trying to get me to try crack" Mika said as she looked at Rei suspiciously.
"Yeah you got any crack on you" Akira said appearing out of thin air.
"How the fuck do you people keep doing that" Mika yelled.
"It is an ancient art passed down only to those who are pure of heart" Akira said as she looked up with a sagely face [there was also intense background music so picture that]. "and by that I mean you're getting old and your hearing is going to shit". She said and smiled a shit eating grin.
"BETTER KEEP SMILING WHILE YOU STILL HAVE ALL YOUR TEETH BECAUSE IF I CATCH YOU IM SENDING YOUR PEARLY WHITES TO THE TOOTH FAIRY PUNK" Mika shouted at her and Akira quickly ran away while cackling maniacally.
"You need to relax Mika did you know that fluffing my pillow can make even someone like you who has the stress levels of a 45 year old with five kids simply melt away" Rei said while wiggling her fingers in a way Mika found disgusting.
"Fluff it fluff it fluff it fluff it fluff it fluff it fluff it fluff it fluff it fluff it fluff it fluff it fluff it fluff it fluff it fluff it fluff it fluff" Rei kept repeat like an annoying bitch [no hate bro but you know what you are].
"OH MY GOD SHUT UP I'LL FLUFF THE DUMB PILLOW". Mika yelled having enough of her repetition like a broken record "as long as you go to sleep right after" she added.
She then stood up from her spot and went over to fluff Rei's pillow.
"Ahh~ yes that's the stuff fluff it you peasant" Rei said enjoying it more than a little too much [she's freaky as hell].
"Nope sorry but I don't play like that" Mika immediately stopped and looked at her more than a little disturbed.
"Curses, just when things were getting good, ooooh yeahhhh~" Rei said.
Okay so I can't really explain explicitly what happened but Mika tied rei to the bed and gagged her with a sock then after a few minutes of intense screaming from Rei she passed out [and I mean this in a totally non-sexual way the whole tying up thing was completely platonic]
Meanwhile Akira was on her own weird little adventures lets take it from the top and now to look into the mind of the little gremlin child named Akira.
After she left Rei's room she went to the living room where she saw Rui and the look in his eyes was something she was very familiar with: Boredom.
"What's good spider boy" Akira said casually as he sat down next to him.
"Nothing this place is just too strange" Rui replied.
"You feelin home sick" Akira said her voice a little softer. He remained silent for awhile. Before Akira had an Idea that might help with the gloomy feel around the house.
"Hey wanna go on an adventure" Akira said with new found excitement in her voice, and like clockwork Rui's usual neutral expression brightened by a smidge.
"Seriously, can we really do that like the ones in the movie thing" Rui said a bit anxious.
"I don't see any reason why not, I got nothin else going on so let's get to adventuring" Akira said now fully committed to this plan of her's.
"So what do we do for this adventure, how do we even start" Rui asked looking a bit puzzled.
"That's easy we start here" Akira responded like it was the most natural thing in the world.
"Isn't an adventure supposed to be well.. special" Rui said thoughtfully.
"There aren't any rules to adventuring kid all you need to do is have fun and be free with yourself that's all" Akira said with a carefree smile and Rui just looked at her.
"But we actually will do something cool I propose we put on a show" Akira added now with a full on grin.
"A show, so we'll be acting or how will we go about it" Rui asked.
"We don't have to if you don't want to, do you have any ideas" Akira said now sitting next to him.
"I actually have a few would you mind humoring me" Rui asked with expectance in his voice.
"Knock yourself out kid I'm all ears" Akira said with a thumbs up.
