Tightened seat belt, ignored the racing heart like any other day and a smirk, looking ahead to a death trap for those who were weak-hearted. The crowd's cheers echoed, calling out a name that held both power and enigma.
"Kartik! Kartik! Kartik! Kartik!"
All the hootings were for none other than Kartik Aaryan, the eldest kid of the Aaryan Family and overly charming but reckless than none. His profession wasn’t just driving girls crazy with his charm but managing director of his family business which was nothing but an empire. And also people often get confused to call him either a ruthless businessperson or a rising superstar of the film industry.
And the engines geared up and the tyres fiercely let a roar out by the friction with the Earth. The adrenaline in the air is palpable.
The terrific race started and ended in 2 minutes. It was nothing but a casual bet with him and his friends. And like any other day, he won. It’s almost midnight.
He got out of his sports car and did a handshake with the other guy. Then went to his gang.
"Bro you did well" a guy complemented. He was as handsome as him. They both were the most good-looking fellows in their gang.
"Ibrahim don't be a flatterer" Kartik said patting his back and started walking.
"I'm not...trust me" Ibrahim replied trying to match his pace.
"I don’t like praises little brother"
"Oh shit!" Ibrahim said.
"Kya hua?"
"Apke little brother kehne se yaad aya...kal di aa rahi hain New York se...ab meri saari freedom gayi!"
"Teri behen bhi hain?" Kartik said playing with a keyholder.
"Come on vhai...I told you once. Jiss year hum mile...I mean humare dads business partners bane usse just ek saal pehle di New York gayi thi"
"Oh haan Sara...Sara Ali Khan, right? Uncle was telling dad about her"
"Yup..."
"To woh aa rahi hain to kya?"
"Unhe parties, yeh sab races, chaos pasand nahi hain"
"Aunty ji types?" Kartik laughed.
"Trust me I should defend her as her biological brother but even if she is not aunty ji types but she is kind of my mummy ji types matlab mere liye kaafi careful hain and strict bhi"
"Chinta mat kar...I will meet and convince her"
"Ap jante nahi di ko"
"Teri di mujhe nahi janti...I'll trick her into my words that she couldn’t deny to let you go anywhere with me"
"Let's see...wese kal to football match hain na?"
"Yeah...I've a shoot, then a meeting and then at sharp 5, I'll meet you in the field"
"Kamal ho aap!!"
"Chal chal...Good night" he said hugging him.
"Good night"
They got in their cars to head back home.
