"Hey, what do you think about catching a movie tomorrow?"

She messaged him after three days since their coffee.Though they had chats in their WhatsApp that they might not prefer to be revealed.

"Sure....when?" he replied within seconds.

"I am thinking how about you come to my house for afternoon tea and then watch something on netflix"  she said.

"Silver screen is more fun:)"

"That sounds fun! But won’t it be a little risky? The media might spot you, and I’d rather not have that attention on us"

"That won't be an issue Sara"

"Sure?"

"Yup...I am here to manage everything...you just select what you are gonna wear to mesmerize me"

"Flirty Aaryan🤭"

"Learning from the best☺️"

"When did I flirt?🙃"

"Didn’t you?😏"

"Shut up...see you tomorrow"

"See you my Flirty Princess😘"

"😠🥺"

"🤪😜"

"😒😒"

The next day, Kartik made arrangements with one of his contacts. He didn’t want Sara to feel uncomfortable or overwhelmed by the media. His PR team was a bit annoyed by his activities but no one dared to say a word. Sara had never seen his rough personality when it came to his workspace. She didn’t know that she was only person around whom he smiled and acted like a toddler.

He had dressed in his usual casual but stylish attire—a white button-up shirt with rolled sleeves, paired with dark jeans and sneakers. His hair was messy in his effortlessly charming way.

She was wearing a simple, flowy white top paired with light-washed jeans and sandals, her hair, with soft curls falling over her shoulders.

That evening, when he picked her up,  his eyes widened in amusement as he took in her appearance. "Wait a minute," he said with a laugh. "Hum dono ne twinning kiya hain kya?"

Sara blinked, glancing down at her outfit and then at him, her cheeks turning a light shade of pink. "Nahi tumne copy kiya hain mujhe" she said, laughing. "But… you don’t look too bad in white"

He leaned closer to her matching her height and said in a low and husky tone,

"Do I look bad in anything?"

Her breathe hitched but she composed herself. She crossed her arms and said,

"You should look bad when I'm not around"

"Kiu?" he laughed.

"Taki kisi aur ke crush na bano"

"So you do have a crush on me, don't you?" he smirked.

"Late nahi ho raha? Movie suru ho jayegi" she urged and got inside the car pushing him aside playfully. She was blushing profusely.

He was driving with a mischievous smile.

"Kya chal raha hain tumhare khurafati dimaag main?" she asked as they drove through the city.

Kartik smirked, keeping his eyes on the road. "You'll see"

When they arrived at the theater, it was unusually quiet. Sara looked around, confused. "Where is everyone?"

Kartik grinned, getting out of the car and walking over to her side to open the door. "About that... I might have booked the entire theater just for us"

Sara’s jaw dropped in surprise. "Wait, you did what?"

"I wanted you to feel comfortable", Kartik said with a shrug, trying to downplay the grand gesture. "I know the media can be annoying and tonight it's us...only us"

"Iski jaroorat nahi thi Kartik" she smiled

"Janta hu" he said, flashing her a charming grin. "But I wanted to. I don’t want anything to ruin our night"

Inside the theater, it felt like a whole new world, just the two of them in the massive empty space. The lights dimmed, and the movie began playing. Sara sat beside him, the excitement bubbling in her chest. It wasn’t just about the movie—it was the fact that Kartik had gone out of his way to make sure she felt comfortable and valued.

As the film played

"Jab We Met"

They both leaned back, relaxing into their seats. He couldn’t help but glance at her occasionally, his heart racing a little faster each time he caught a glimpse of her soft smile or the way she quietly giggled at the screen. It wasn’t long before Sara noticed him looking.

"What?" she asked in a whisper, her eyes playfully narrowing at him.

Kartik shrugged, a grin tugging at his lips. "Nothing… Just wondering how I got lucky enough to be here with you"

She blushed and was about to tuck her loose hair behind her ear but he caught her hand in the mid air. He tucked the hair behind her ear and whispered,

"You are allowed to do it yourself when we are in public otherwise it’s my job to do"

"Tum Se hi" played.

Without saying a word, he extended his hand to her, his smile turning mischievous. "Come on."

Sara raised an eyebrow, looking up at him in confusion. "What?"

Kartik shrugged, his hand still outstretched "Aao to"

He pulled her to her feet gently, guiding her down the steps toward the center of the aisle. As they reached the open space in front of the screen, the faint glow of the theater lights created a soft, intimate atmosphere.

He placed one hand on her waist, the other holding her hand as they began to sway to the rhythm.

They couldn’t say a word to each other. They were just lost in each other's eyes.

With a playful glint in his eye, he suddenly lifted her by her waist, effortlessly twirling her around in a joyful spin.

She squealed in surprise, laughter bubbling from her lips as she spun through the air, her hair flying around her.

As he brought her back down, he gently set her back on her feet, his hands still on her waist, their faces inches apart. The sudden closeness sent butterflies racing through Sara’s stomach, her breath catching as she looked into his eyes.

"Just trying to keep things interesting", he said, his tone teasing but his eyes sincere. "I want to make sure this is a night you won’t forget"

"Trust me, I won’t forget any of these", Sara said, her heart racing as she stepped back slightly.

"Tumhe main bata nahi sakta Sara ki how much good I am feeling right now"

In a spontaneous surge of affection, she leaned in and hugged him tightly, wrapping her arms around his waist. The gesture caught Kartik off guard for a brief moment, but then he melted into the embrace, resting his chin on the top of her head.

"Me neither...tumne aaj jo bhi kiya...I am just overwhelmed" she murmured in his chest.

"I have done nothing yaar...you are worth of everything"

"You have already set the bar too high" she chuckled.

"Is it? Then I have to keep raising the bar"

They laughed softly looking at each other and sat down again to finish watching.

With that, they stepped outside into the cool night air, the stars twinkling above them, a perfect backdrop to the budding romance between them. As they walked side by side, it wasn’t racing hearts but a kind of peace and assurances. They wasn’t talking then but the entangled fingers with each other was something that couldn’t be describe in words. The world outside faded for them as they were lost in their own world.

Yeah guys I admit this is the second time I am doing Jab We Met ft. Sartik. But I can't help it. It always seems perfect at least to me:)

I hope you guys will like it☺️
